The green sauce is called NAM PRIG NOOM, made from roasted young bell pepper & shallot, lime juice, fish sauce, and bit of mono sodium glutamate (MSG). Lovely time you have there, guys, and Danny is such an expert on motor bike now. 👍 "Don't shout" 🤣🤣🤣 ❤❤

The green chili paste is called Nam Pik Num. The ingredients are green pepper, garlic and red onion. pan stir until they cook and then add fish sauce, sugar and lime. Mash and mix them together. It goes very well with vegetable. Northern sausage and crispy pork belly or pork rind.

At 11:39, it called "Nam-Prik-Noom" (Northern Thai Green Chili Dip). It go along well with any type of pork rind. I hope both of you would love its mild taste, not serious spicy at all.

I'm so happy that you guys are in Nan now. It's one of my top 5 favourite province of all time. I would recommend you stay the night in Sapun Village to see the beautiful nature and sea of mist in the morning and explore the near area and Pua as well. I think the best time to visit Nan is end of rainy season around mid of October. You can still see the amazing view of yellow and green rice fields and rice terraces in Sapun. Have a great time in Nan and safe travel guys.❤

Nan is a small province that I went to explore, do research, proposed to the provincial administrator in 2011 to develop the province from planting rice that makes the mountains no trees left. Until it is a tourist province I recommend you to rafting at Santisuk District ❤❤❤

Labb that you have in Nan is the northern style of Labb. It’s similar, but totally different recipe from Labb E-San (northeast style) that is very common to find in Bangkok. For the northern style Labb, the meet is finely mince and use variety of herbs to eliminate the stinking smell of meet.

You try going to the city of Chumphon. It's calm and pleasant, the food is delicious, there's a lot of fruit, the weather is good, the accommodations are good. I recommend this place to stay: Thirty Tree Garden House - Hostel Chumphon, hostel, accommodation in Chumphon.

I've been traveling to Nan every year for the past 12 years. Back then, it had just opened up; before that, it was a closed province. Because it's not a pass-through province, you have to decide that you want to go to Nan. At 6:30 pm, it felt like 10-11 pm, with everything quiet and not many shops open, as everyone tends to eat at home. I hope you can make it to Boklua village (salt wells). In the past, wars were fought to control the salt wells; it was considered as white gold. Silk Road caravans from China would stop to purchase salt from this village before continuing their journey.

That green paste is grilled green chill paste, some add lime for sourness and some not. It's not too spicy compared to the red one.

The bike looked cool Danny the speed demon. Diggy made me laugh my heada a funny shape and her singing in Danny's ear on the bike ride quality 👍👍. Temple at night lit up was amazing. Night Market looked interesting indeed nice foods and good choice. Temple you toured inside was fantastic to see I like temples, churches, historical buildings. The place looked impressive. Sights should be amazing or further adventures, good Info from Danny about the history of the temple. Good to see friendly locals offer you a lift. Krispy Kreme only have branches in Bangkok and some provinces in central, that’s why they bring it back to their home. like when you came back from Hatyai you buy pickled mangoes, Sai ua from northern, Vietnamese sausages from E-sarn.

Years ago in Australia there was only a Krispy Kreme near Sydney Airport and all you'd see is people getting domestic flights with boxes of them. The over head compacts where full with no luggage room 😂😂. Great vlog. Love the market with ground cover little tables then those bins. Not seen that before in my travels. Food looked fantastic Larb sounds delish 😋

Hi D1 & D2, if both of u still in Nan. My recommendation for the food u must try is... ไก่ทอดมะแขว่น Kai-Tord-Maa-Khevan. I've been there almost 20 years ago. I saw this vdo from Ur vlog it is now the city changed so much from 20 years ago. Let me know next city /province then I will recommendation the food u must try as it is famous by the provinces. Good luck n hope u can try Kai-Tord-Maa-Khevan before u back to BKK.

11:22 It's Northern Thai green chili dip aka "Nam-prick-Noom". Mild spicy dip and go along well with sticky rice, pork rind and northern sausage ("Sai-Oua" in Thai). Normally, you can find it at Northern Thai food stall or at 7-11 convenient store in Bangkok but always sold out.

Yes !!. I would like to thank you, you both for visiting the north of Thailand. Thai northern soursage well known is "sai uor" the northeast is "sai krok or sai grog" and the sweet chinese soursage is "goon chiang". the green paste that made from young chili, yes it's real chili paste. But for Thai people it's not touch any spicy...you may easily find them around northern of Thailand. Laarb.. in my opinion the Thai northern style is/are the best of laarb. And also so have many many menus... you both will surprise x!!e!!x... with Thai northern foods.. thank your very much for sharing, exploring your journey around Thailand.
