First TIME IN MALAYSIA, KUALA LUMPUR

First time in Malaysia and I was happy to be here. I wasn't a fan of MCDONALDS, but I was a fan of the city. Gorgeous views and greenery.

I think it is because of the standard put by Malaysia authority regarding halal food. Malaysia enforce a very strict rules for halal food industry. Malaysian halal certificates is the most sought out by any food processor/manufacturing from all around the world. Even in Tokyo Olympic, they asked our help to cater and overseeing all the process for halal food for athletes and visitors.

Hahahaha..the moment u said the fried chicken is spicy, i already knew u cant handle the rest. Most malaysian loves prosperity burger. The sauce is just black pepper. Malaysia has many spicy food. Tips if u dont like it , when u go to local stall or restaurant, ask them to make less spicy, or not spicy. If happen u try Nasi lemak, request the spice sauce to be put separately.

🤣The majority of Malaysians love spicy food. Therefore, most cuisines in Malaysia adapt to the tastes of Malaysians. Even the chef from France who opened a restaurant in Malaysia admits that he has to add spicy flavor to his cooking. Some expats also admit that it is quite difficult to adapt their appetite to spicy food, but over time they feel unappetizing if they don't eat spicy food. In most restaurants they will ask if you want the food to be spicy or not because they are familiar with the experience of tourists who are not used to spicy food.

It’s hard being a food critic in different countries because people from that place may take offense if there are negative reviews. Obviously this review is for foreigners wanting to try the different food items on the menu not offered in the US. I like hearing Walid’s reviews of how the different food items at McDonald’s in different countries taste. It helps travelers on a budget know what the western palate may/may not like. I look forward to seeing the local Malaysian food stands and restaurants. I love spicy food so I would very much like to visit places with spicy food.
