That hurry to leave the plane is just something else. Nigerians barely do it when they fly into another country, but once the plane touches down in Lagos, over 50% of the passengers will jump up and start grabbing their bags as if they must first catch the taxi outside before anyone else. Our blood too hot.

That’s not a bribe technically, it’s very common for workers of a place you visit to ask for ‘small something’. It’s like a tip relative to the one in the American culture. A bribe is more like you need to get or do something but they’re impeding on your right to do it because of the power they have and using means such as bribes to get you to suck up to them. Of course the case changes when you do give them what they want, they end up sucking up to you instead.

You are confusing loud speaking with shouting at people, from what you said about the air steward i understood she was talking loud so that everyone could hear her, That's why they call Nigerians loud because we speak out loud we don't talk in-between our teeth and still we do not whisper, we don't want to smell your breath so we talk loud so that you can hear us clearly without coming to stand in front of us if you want to kiss us. I love your honest review about Lagos, some random guys be coming here and say things their country do worst of.
You are confusing loud speaking with shouting at people, from what you said about the air steward i understood she was talking loud so that everyone could hear her, That's why they call Nigerians loud because we speak out loud we don't talk in-between our teeth and still we do not whisper, we don't want to smell your breath so we talk loud so that you can hear us clearly without coming to stand in front of us if you want to kiss us. To us it's offensive to stand in front of someone as if you're closely related romantically or want to kiss them.
