I actually prefer the beef noodles a street behind Lai Foong REstaurant. The style of cooking is slightly different and I think it is really special. The restaurant is called Soong Kee, it is next door to the Maybank. If you still have time in KL you can go try it too.
Personally for a Nepali, I think Malaysia is a great country for its discipline, great cultural mixture, good foods and friendly people. I would like to live in this country.

What a surprise! Mickey visits Malaysia. This video is giving an eating machine vibe to me. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 many foods are waiting for the hunt. Then you made me eat 2 plates like 2 years ago. 😂😂 Now I live in Malaysia.
Nice video! There is so much great food in Kuala Lumpur! Enjoy it, especially during Ramadan!
You seem a super fun person. I love how you interact with the locals, so open and made them feel like they're friends with you already. how you explain things is very easy to understand, and the way you speak up your mind as well. I really enjoyed the video. good luck and enjoy Malaysia.. PS. I'm not even a Malaysian but I've been there couple of times and I fall in love with the country
Mickey, happy to see you new adventure in Malaysia ,please go to Sarawak too so many places and delicious food too
Love KL, so much vibe going in this city, people are friendly. Much better experience than in Singapore.
Hey Mickey thanks for visiting our beautiful country 😍🇲🇾
I’ve traveled all over and have been to many markets etc. I respect how you are OPEN to the experiences / transactions with your heart and humor, it helps the sellers open up as well and have a genuine experience… after hundreds of potentially fast/ rude/ superficial interactions. It’s all very real. It inspires me. I feel ,Ike we’ve met but I’m uncertain. Lived in CM and BKK 2015-2021. Love the content Mickey. Очень хорошо мой друг!
Welcome to our beautiful Malaysia 😁♥️🇲🇾

In Malaysia you can find many types of anchovies. Some of them, after well fried, can get really crunchy and some are hard to chew. The cook has to know which is which to complement their nasi lemak and everything else.

I was there for 7 months and I’ve been to those places you showed in your video😂.. their Public transport is impressive..i have tried that Beef Brisket Noodle too😂
The Thai milk tea apparently originated from the Southern region of Thailand influenced by the Malaysian teh tarik.
I am Thai but I live in Singapore waiting your hungry adventure Mickey ❤❤❤stay and travel safety I enjoy watching your chanel ❤❤❤😊👍
Hey hey hey.. Finally u are in Malaysia Mickey! I love how you take your time in capturing the ambience of the place. I studied and worked in KL for many years. Your video captures our hot, humid and rainy weather perfectly. It is normal to sweat, get wet, stuck in heavy rain, etc in Malaysia. U must capture the thunderstorm lightnings next haha.. May I suggest you rent a motorcycle and ride around Peninsular Malaysia. Would love to hear how you will compare it with Thailand
Thank you very much for this extremely good and informative video. You gave us a lot of tips for our honeymoon trip to Kuala Lumpur in three weeks. Specifically the Ramly Burger at BossBurger. Thanks also for linking the different locations. Brilliant! If you're in Kuala Lumpur between May 23rd - 27th let us know, we owe you at least a beer :-P Cheers from Vienna, Austria, from your new subscribers.
Hi Mickey, Kopi Cham, means mix coffee, cham means "mix" in Hokkien Chinese and its essentially coffee mix with tea, cham does not mean tea. Tea is "Teh", you need to try Teh Tarik (Tarik means "pull" in Malay) when you are in Malaysia!

Mickey! Selamat Datang ke Malaysia 🇲🇾 Only tonight watched yr video. Great video & you made very interesting observations abt our foods & cultures. See the locals in KL already loved yr smile & easy going personality. The women said Hi... Haha. Hopefully you come visit again perhaps longer stays & visit other states in our country. Thanks for being a rational & understanding tourist as well as promoting local tourism 🇲🇾
Mickey n Malaysia! I think with all the interesting food there you will enjoy your hungry adventure. Good video!
3 reasons why that durian so expensive: 1. Musang King is the most expensive durian. 2. Alor Street is tourist area, usually more expensive. 3. Now, durian is not really in season.
Hi M! Good to see you in a good health 😊. This burger looks great! I would love to try it. Thank you so much M for this video 😊😘
Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾 🤗 btw we don't mix chili sauce to the broth but just dip with beef or noodle 😅 also you need to cut min 70% from the selling price in petaling street 😂
@alleymittanderson5799
Жыл бұрын
Call me weird, i did that too 😂 if there is soy sauce i will put it in also and a black paper too, nyonya cili jeruk is a bonus! 😅
Try on hot food: roti canai (flat bread), roti jala (net shaped bread), nasi lemak (coconut cooked rice), asam laksa (sweet sour rice noodles in fish gravy), nasi dagang. cendol (pandan noodles dessert)
Great video Mickey. The char kuey teow at the stall ( next to the beef noodle place) is amazing! Also, if you are near the Jalan Alor market, and want cheap local food, there's a restaurant called Hussain's, that is very cheap with delicious food.
You should go to Penang for even better street food experience! Many more good food to try like Laksa, Hokkien Mee, Cendol, Tandoori Chicken, Rojak, Nasi Kerabu, Satay, Char Koay Teow, claypot style food- e.g. claypot lao shu fen, etc Btw the three main races are Malay, Chinese and Indian. We are all Malaysian. Cham in Kopi Cham means mixed not tea. Teh means tea. Durian is very expensive because it takes many years to ripe and it’s scare, have short shelf life and not easy to transport and above all it’s perceived as the treasure in Asia especially southeast Asians 😂
Kuala lumpur sangat indah sekali
So happy that you’re here ! Welcome and hope you feel the malaysia vibes

Been watching your Thailand videos & it has been a big help for a walking tourist like me! A big thank you. 😊 Ahh...RM200 for an imitation perfume from Petaling Street?Wow you really made the day of those sellers. That shall only cost them RM20-40 tops from stock (or even less).Petaling Street vendors are now mostly foreign nationals from the south Asian region (though the businesses are surely owned by locals in the background). Also Kopi Cham is not a 'national drink' for Malaysia that title goes to teh tarik (most probably you have already read that from the comments in here since the vlog is like a month old now). Kopi cham is available only in some traditional chinese & malay coffee shops...not that popular...even myself at 53 yrs old only had that drink once by accident recently on my short trip transiting in Ipoh. Welcome to 🇲🇾 & safe travels always Micky!
Hi Micky! I'm happy every time I watch your VDO. No matter what country you are in, I wish you a safe and happy travel and life.

Hi Mickey, I’m continuing in watching your video of this right now and it’s nice , nice and nice . I just share it in FB. However , really hope that in your next video, you may brief about the fact that most the street vendors in tourism places are not Malaysian. Really hope that it won’t make foreigners to get misperception about the character of a pure Malaysian .
Teh is milk tea and kopi is coffee. Cham comes from a Hokkien (a local Chinese dialect) word which means mixture. Coincidentally, the Malay word for mixing is called campur (pronounced like cham-pur). In Chinese eateries like kopitiam, cham means coffee mixed with milk tea. Welcome to Malaysia, Mickey!

Talking about kopi cham. ‘Cham’ basically means mixed, and it is understood mixing coffee with tea. If you see soya bean milk/drink stall, and if they have some other dark looking drink call grass jelly drink as well, u can also order as ‘Cham’ and it’s a mixed between these two beverage. P.s. if you want it less sweet, you can request for less sugar, or ‘kurang manis’ in Malay P.s.s. Some stalls may understand the cheekiness if you order the drink as Michael Jackson. Because of his song Black or White (getit?!) lol
you should bargain more for your Perfume, Rm200 for a fake perfume is way too expensive.
Welcome to 🇲🇾 Mickey hope you had a great time exploring & stay safe
