😂 BURIRAM was very interesting! 100% Local Feel for sure! Definitely a different feeling than Bangkok!

Love your channel and your videos. FYI: all Thai children are Boy and Girl Scout. Each school will dedicate a day of the week for the whole school to wear Boy and Girl Scout uniform. The school will teach a basic Boy and Girl Scout info from first Grade to 9th Grade. Each school will have a PE day where the whole school will wear a sport uniform (long warm up pants and different color shirt based on the school). Buriram is an interesting province of Thailand. It's known for the soccer team and racing. The reason that so many people could speak some English is because of the car races (stock car and motorbike) including marathon and biking as well. There are many racing fans around the world come to Buriram. There's a night market in the middle of the town. The castle that you visited is a replica, not a real castle. The real castle is in Buriram but at a different location. The real castle is more than 1,000 years old.

You finally visit the countryside province! You can see a very local and unique lifestyle. I think cow is pretty normal in almost every province except Bangkok😅. Also when u walking, be aware of mother with infant because it might be extra aggressive. It will definitely be pretty challenging traveling to each place cuz theres no public transportation like in Bangkok🥲. Usually the older locals cant speak english, some of it can but not that fluent. The miang kam lay is also my favorite flavor! Anyways enjoy your trip!

In the provinces of Thailand, there are quite a few public transportation vehicles. If you are far from the city, I recommend renting a car to see the highlights of that province. Have a fun trip.

English is taught in school as a secondary language but more for reading and writing so most Thais can also get by speaking a few sentences especially in food and hospitality services (same as when you guys went to HS in the US and learned Spanish, French, Latin, or German).

Provinces in Isan can give u tranquil vibe. It's a little bit hard for traveling outside main city. Local ppl mainly use motobike and car. Buriram is famous for ancient temple structure 800-1000 yrs ago e.g. Phanom-Rung Historical park.

Built in 15th century, by laterite, pink sand stone on the non active volcano and 4 times a year the sunlight shine directly through every windows and doors as an architectural design to worship in ancient times.

When the lady chose the darker sticky rice for you, she said “this one’s more expensive” she’s too sincere 😂😂 i personally prefer the darker rice since it’s a little more crunchy-chewy idk how to explain it, like it has more texture than the white one. Also, it’s not as commonly sold as the white one so whenever i see it, i feel lucky and have to buy it.

@@ChovyTravel The black sticky rice is less glutinous than the regular white variety, but the individual gains on the black sticky rice is larger and more chewy and has a nutty flavor. It's not as mass farmed as the white rice hence more expensive.

When you go isan you have to order isan papaya! Or u can also call it Lao papaya. Sorry, somtum isan. The differences between that and thai somtum is they use Padak! Or they call it 'Palaa' these are thick liquid of fermented fish.. it's very fishy but delicious

If you're into healthy diets, always choose the darker rice, either normal or sticky. It's packed with a lot more nutrients. The pork dish you ate at Taweekit is called Khao Kha Moo. The fermented fish sauce served on most food stalls is well-cooked so it won't be too pungent for you. As a municipality, Buriram is only medium-sized so GRAB cars are not common. You'll find it easier to find a GRAB bike. The night market you were visiting was not the largest one in town, by the way. Welcome to the REAL Thailand.

Another thing to know Buriram is hometown of Thailand Moto GP where Chang International Circus of course people in Buriram will be able to speak English but most of people age 50 years old and younger will be able to understand English because they just start to learn English language at school 50 years ago.

It is Hindu religion style “ Pha nom Rong “ is the name. The most famous decoration piece for the gate is call “ Sleeping Narai ““ that were stolen to Chicago art museum . With all over Thailand cooperation attempt for long time to bring it back, the carabao music band create one song meaning is” Take back your Michael Jackson, return back our Narai” 😂“

4:30 It's "Khao Kha Moo" ( ข้าวขาหมู : Thai Braised Pork Leg with Rice : 태국 족발 ) I think the ( previous ) Main Attraction of Buriram ( At this time, they want to be the Sports-Hub Province. ) is "Prasat Preah Vihear" ( Archaeological Tourist Attraction ) ( Even it's actually located in Cambodia. ) Ha ha We ( Thailand & Cambodia ) used to be argue the right of possession, Because of the nation border line doesn't look practical IRL. I mean the Temple located on the High Land, ( and most of the Thailand Border Area is High Land. ) and the border line just cut off the cliff where the temple located. If you want to go there, the easiest way is to come from the Thailand (High Land Area). But If you come from the Cambodia "Directly", you may have to climb the Cliff. Ha ha But it's Okay, I didn't blame anyone, It's just Funny story how the system work. Ha ha

Having a car is much easier to get around or if you don’t wanna drive just book local private driver. Esan has so much to see, to explore but you can’t really get far on foot and there’s not a lot if options for public transportation. Did you go to Phanom Rung Historical Park? Cuz if you didn’t, you have just missed the main attraction of Buri Ram.

การไปต่างจังหวัด ควรมี คนไทยพาเที่ยว ครับ ไม่ควรไปเอง ถ้าไปเองก็จะไม่รู้ไปสำรวจอะไร เพราะแหล่งท่องเทียว แต่ละจังหวัด นั้น มันต่างกันไปนั่นเอง ส่วนจังหวัดที่เป็นแหล่งท่องเทียว แน่นอนคุณ เดินสำรวจ คนเดียวได้ เช่น กรุงเทพ เชียงใหม่ ภูเก็ต กระบี พังงา พัทยา และ จังหวัดรอบกรุงเทพ ประเทศไทย มีแหล่งท่องเทียวเยอะ แต่ บางครั้ง คุณต้อง มีการกำหนดเป้าหมายในการไปก่อน และ ควรหาข้อมูลมาบ้างพอสมควร ถ้าต่างจังหวัด สิ่งที่ควรไป คือ การดูวิถี ชีวิตผู้คน ว่าเขาทำอะไร เขาอยู่กันยังไง และ ใช้ชีวิตแบบไหน ทำอาชีพอะไร ซึ่งมันก็สนุกไปอีกแบบ ได้เห็นอะไรที่ไม่เคยเห็น ได้ใช้ชีวิตในแบบ ที่แตกต่างจาก เมืองใหญ่ และ ควรไปเดินตลาดของคนท้องถิ่น หรือ อาจไปตอนเขามีการจัดงาน จังหวัดนั้นๆ ถ้าคุณกล้าขับรถ ก็เช่ารถขับไปต่างจังหวัด ถ้าต่างจังหวัด แนะ นำไปดู การทำการเกษตร และ ไปพักแบบ โฮมสเตย์ กินอยู่และใช้ชีวิต ร่วมกับชาวบ้าน และ ให้ชาวบ้านพาไปเทียวในแบบวิถีชาวบ้านครับ ส่วนที่บอก กรุงเทพ พูดภาษาอังกฤษ กับคุณน้อย มันมีเหตุผลครับ และ หนึ่งในนั้นคือ คนที่คุณคุยด้วยบางส่วนเป็น แรงงานจากเพื่อนบ้านไทยครับ ไมใช่คนไทย เป็นแค่ลูกจ้างในการขายของ หรือบริการนั่นเอง ปัจจุบันคนไทยจำนวนมาก พูดภาษาอังกฤษได้ครับ แต่มีบางส่วนไม่อยากพูด เพราะอายในการออกสำเนียงภาษา กลัวพูดผิด พูดถูก และที่คุณไป บุรีรัม ตรงนั้นมันคือแหล่งที่นักท่องเทียวมาครับ เขาเลยพูดได้กัน มาดูบอล และ แข่งรถ แต่ถ้าออกนอกเมืองหน่อย ก็อาจพูดไม่ได้ หรือ พูดได้แต่ไม่กล้าพูดครับ กลัวพูดผิด พูดถูก ประเทศไทย ไม่ต้องห่วงเรื่องอาหารการกิน และ สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครับ ทุกจังหวัดไม่ลำบากอย่างที่คิด มี อินเตอร์เข้าถึง มี น้ำ มีไฟฟ้า และ มีห้าง และ ร้านสะดวกซื้อ เยอะครับ ต่างจังหวัดส่วนใหญ่จะไปชมธรรมชาติ และ ไปเที่ยว พวก ไร่ สวน นา อะไรแบบนี้ครับ ถ้าชอบ ก็หาคนพาไปครับ สุดท้ายขอให้เที่ยวเมืองไทยให้สนุกครับ และ ปลอดภัยครับ อยากให้ไป พัทยา ครับ ไปเที่ยว สวนนงนุช สวยมากครับไปแล้วจะตกใจครับ และไปเทียวทะเลไทย และไปเที่ยว ฐานทัพเรือสัตหีบ Sattahip Naval Base กินข้าวที่ ค่ายทหารเรือ และ ถ้ามีเวลา ไปเทียว สวนผลไม้ในจังหวัด ระยองครับ สวนนงนุช kzread.info/dash/bejne/l2eOtaWmmLGoZM4.html

​@@ChovyTravelThere are 2 big ones that I know of; Ubon Ratchathani and Nakhon Ratchasima. The more reputable one would be the Ubon Ratchathani. It will be on July 20th and 21st. I don't think Bangkok has any big candle festival. It's more of an ISan thing.
