Of course he was going to get the invite. This will be the second time he goes to the combine but his third invite. He got one last year after announcing he was going back to OU. Guy is a weapon. And the scary part is he didn't start putting until he was 18 years old. As good as he is, he is still growing and learning as a punter.

@@ravenking6958 There's a lot of crazy things you could say about Ray Guy beyond my quick and blunt last message. 93 yard punt in college, 61 yard field goal in a snow storm. He hit a gondola/TV screen about 90+ feet in the stadium, forcing teams around the league to adjust the height of that. His punts had such rediculous hang time, especially next to contemporaries in his era, he was consistently accused of using helium in footballs to which the NFL had the Raiders on multiple occasions send them to independent labs for testing. Like he could boom them, but he could boom them for multiple seconds so teams rarely returned. The idea was, make every team start at the 20 or worse and make them earn it against those Raider D's. That doesn't sound novel in the modern era, but at the time he played and prior to his arrival the Raiders rarely gave opponents bad field position. With Guy, it was always at worst making them play at the kneel down endzone kickoff mark. Every punter owes their success to Ray Guy. He's a representative of the NFL's top 100 anniversary team and when you think of all the great players to ever do it, says a lot. Hopefully that gives you some better context to his greatness mate!
