Scott this was Marthas third recording, she was just 11 years old and Lucy was 16 and such a beautiful rendition.!!!! Thanks for the react and ANY of the girls songs are well worth the listen. What you are seeing is a girl "Thing" going on between the 2 sisters 5 years and 8 months apart, we experienced this with our 2 girls 4 years apart when we brought the little sister home big sister was the first to hold little sister and big sister learns to be a mother taking care of little sister by helping mom look after little sister, we see that in the pictures shown of them and little kids. yes it is a beautiful thing and little sister looks up to big sisters as a second mother, or role model, and rather than Martha challenging and trying to compete with the best female singer out there Martha has chosen to be Martha and go on a different course, her equestrian activities and Martha is an outstanding rider and has won ribbons this some and or placed very well and as a FYI Lucy does NOT ride. Martha can excel at something Lucy does not do yet they can still sing together for fun and be friends !!! thanks for the react enjoy them !! !

The loving glances the sisters exchange during their duets is what gets me every time. I imagine the 5 1/2 year age difference never gave sibling rivalry a chance to raise it's bothersome head, Lucy is just the adored older sister and role model, and Martha is just the beloved little sister Lucy always cares for. While Martha does not yet have the bright quality that makes Lucy so special, her vocal control and talent is no less impressive than her big sister's - and in recent videos I believe I am hearing Martha's voice beginning to acquire this magical quality Lucy has.

It had to be done. 🥲 Such a powerful song and it has to be heard and experienced even though wrecked by emotional overload. Scott you are a stronger guy than me, when I first heard this I was in tears without knowing why. 😭 Never happened before and only this song, and even now my lip is wobbling. 🥺 Such talent and power these 2 girls possess. Truly amazing. ☺

I get chocked up every time I watch/listen to this video.

When i woke up one morning this was ready for me to watch , and i watched it a few times . I went to my moms house later that day , and introduced my mom to Martha and Lucy with this song . My mom fell in love with them instantly , i think the black and white pictures of the sisters was what warmed my moms heart , also their beatiful singing of course .. You keep playing Lucy,s channel , she is gonna wrap you up in a warm blanket , your not gonna want to get out of ..Anyway i appreciate it Scott nice reaction ..
