As a 27 year old who’s grown up in the pop era, people are usually surprised when I say that my favorite band is Tool. Between their sound, perfected technique, lyrics, and topics they perform about, it’s the closest band to perfection in any genre. Some of my favorite songs by them are The Pot, Lateralus, Schism, and Sober. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend going down the Tool rabbit hole. They’re absolutely incredible. All love Sebs ❤️🤙🏻

As for other tool songs you'll learn that you need to know every tool song. Beautifully composed and engineered pieces of ProgMetal-esque bangers, one after the next after the next with some funky texture as seques in betwixt. None of them are about anger...all of them will make you fall deeper and deeper in love with the band and their whhoollee thhhiinnggggg... I hope you check them out again soon! if I would rec' anything...for a 2nd track... The Grudge. Same album, its the opener. Forking brilliance.

That next song that crept in at the end is actually my favorite song, Lateralus, using the Fibonacci sequence from math with the syllables of the words. It is legit as are all their songs from album 1 to the latest Fear Inoculum. We need more Tool reactions and I promise your ratio of likes to dislikes will be the best of anything you can think of to react to. I'm not lying so go prove me wrong.

Welcome to the rabbit hole of a journey that is Tool. You should do Lateralus next, but before you do look into the Fibonacci sequence if you aren't familiar. Will make the experience of the song that much greater. Be ready for one of the greatest musical journeys ever with Tool. The song that started playing after Parabola ended was Lateralus btw. Edit: Try to listen, really listen and embrace the music, without pausing as much as possible. It makes it so much more of an experience as opposed to just music. Second Edit: "what time signature is this?" That is the million dollar question with any Tool song you listen to. Danny Carey is one of the greatest technical drummers of all time. Right up there with Neil Peart.

Tool are 4 amazing musicians who together make up a truly unique band. One of the greatest vocalists ever in Maynard and Danny Carey on drums is one of the absolute best ever. When you said you like prog rock I had a feeling you were gonna love this song. You would be doing yourself a huge disservice if you don’t continue on this Tool journey and listen to more from them. They just put out an album recently and the drummer Danny is like 60 years old and still getting it. He is known for his polyrhythms and odd time signatures. The song starting to play at the end is “Lateralus” based on the Fibonacci sequence. It’s a masterpiece that needs to be checked out. “Vicarious” and “The Pot” are probably a couple you’d very much enjoy.

Favorite combo of songs.. Love this entire album. Probably my favorite one of all time. You gained a subscriber with this one. my own belief... the universe had you read that book, learn to meditate, and your back problem... they all happened for you prior so you could understand this song later on.. and the band tool in general. Lots of love brother.. bless

Was fortunate to see Tool and Disturbed live in October 2019, right before the pandemic. Great experience! Another Tool song recommendation would be the song Right in Two, it's so good!

Bro, I have a habit to come back from time to time to your Tool videos. I love your transition from non-tool to Toolhead, or whatever the fuck u want to call it. Best reaction videos currently. I hope people would focus on lyrics more than just music. Music is amazing, but the lyrics coming with it man, this is the thing, the only thing. Wish you do the new Tool album as well. Wonder how will it affect myself and then other fellow Tool fans. Bless you man, and everyone that reads this. Much love!

Eh, one thing that I want to add - your thing is like "shit, do you hear the lyrics, wtf, holy shit", and others mostly is just "hey this sounds amazing, 10/10". There is a difference between appreciating good music, and appreciating good music AS WELL AS good lyrcis. I feel like nobody listens to lyrics these days. Maybe I'm a boomer, an old school. Who cares. Your videos are top notch and I will fight anyone that thinks differet. Especially the 10.000 days and Maynards mother topic. Tears guaranteed. Man, good job, dunno if you will ever read this, but shit. You made my day, month, and youtube seach all together. Keep it up friend, love you, keep on going!

I just came across the Lateralus reaction first, then saw this, so it's pretty funny at the end when you say "Dunno what song that is..." when Lateralus starts. I was like, man, you're in for a treat!

To hear this song is cool and all but, to experience this composition, understand this message and adapt it into your life is truly powerful. Tool wasn't just making music but creating frequencies that can really touch the spirit and helped me personally to understand we are connected to everything. It still shakes me to my core today. Kudos to you.

Way before I dedicated myself to weight training, I was a big TOOL fan. Since I've been lifting, their music also has helped me get over plateaus and walls I hit when I workout. Always inspiring. Mentality, emotionally, and now physically. Enjoy your new journey. Wish I could listen for the first time all over again.
