My daughter turned me on to Tom years ago. We were gonna see him live, but COVID ruined that. I'm sure he never expected to have people like me, a 52 year old Southern raised female patriot, be such HUGE fans of him. He loves this country more than a lot of people born here. Unrelated to this video, a pretty cool fun fact is that Tom drew and painted four out of the five paintings that’s on his studio wall (Or I think it’s his studio wall)😊

Tom said in a live video that he is good most days and he appreciates everything he has. But he still suffers from depression, so when he has bad days he writes. Because the entire HOG fam asked him. He's good and he still loves what he does.

Tom absolutely loves his fans and loves creating his music and content. He has said countless times he cannot live without it and that the thought of taking a vacation would make his depression worse. Tom is simply expressing the dark days as a human being. Picture never being able to go to your local convenience store or Grocery or the bank or anywhere in public without crowds of people gathering around you that would suffocate and have a mental impact on anyone. That doesn’t mean Tom does not appreciate it. As a reminder in the song by Eminem “the way I am” he says “no I won’t sign your autograph, you can call me an a hole I’m glad” and he also even mentions not being able to use the bathroom in peace in so many words and everyone absolutely loved that track.

I always tear up to this song. Your commentary is what he wanted! It might have made me tear up more but he's letting you know he's a human and this is an old song off of his older album. It took me by surprise also because I never heard this song..

I've been listening to this song since I got the new CD back in early October. At first I was worried about Tom, but then I realized Tom lets his emotions out in his music. He was having a bad day. Its good he shows his emotions and don't bottle them up. Tom is okey. After the release of this video, he made sure to put out messages to hangovergang that he loved us and he was expressing his depression but he was okey. Much love Asia and BJ ❤

When someone deals with a past addiction, when they get clean, they fulfill that addictive personality with a different addiction. It may be a positive thing that becomes the new addiction but it’s still an addiction. Tom knows that he has replaced the alcohol and drugs with his music and being on the grind. Tom has also admitted that taking a break would result in withdrawals, no less brutal than when he got clean. It is a 2-edged sword. Tom has been able to lock this demon down again. He wrote this a few months back when he was stuck in the depression for roughly 3 weeks, finding it difficult to just get out of bed. He’s good now and really appreciates all the love and support from the H.O.G. #hangovergang forever ✌🏽 My comment to Tom ------- Damn bro, I felt this at a visceral level and was brought to tears, for 2 reasons: 1st: because I don’t enjoy seeing anyone this depressed and I wish I could do something to help 2nd: because I’ve been there, not with fame but feeling that I failed my wife and 4 kids. Thinking they would be better off if I was gone is a very bad place to be. I love you man and I really hope you have this version of a demon locked down for a while. #HOG The Army and we are invincible when we are family 🤘🏼

Tom still struggles with depression. Anyone who battles depression knows it comes and goes like waves. This was something he wrote on a bad day. This is the stuff you write in your journal, talk to God or yourself about and no one ever knows you ever feel this way. Only Tom gives you this realness inside himself even though it's not flattering. He goes where no one else goes and that's why I love him and will be #HOG4Ever ✌❤ He is strong though and always comes out the other side and perseveres.

Whether Tom anticipated all of this public attention or not that’s irrelevant to his mental health issues and his depression and anxiety so now that it’s happening and he’s getting bigger and bigger it’s affecting him in unexpected ways. Tom is so humble he never expected to get this big. He loves his fans and he loves making music but with all the restrictions that are on him now where he can barely go outside as well as people who have threatened to take his life that would break anybody down mentally. In other words, just because someone wants to be famous doesn’t mean the price of fame doesn’t affect them as a human being

He said that he can't stop because if he does he'll relapse. It's become an addiction for him. He loves the HOG family and he feels part of us and not some leader. I can imagine what it is like to quit smoking after going thru so much to get clean. He said quitting smoking was harder than getting clean. I can vouch for that for sure.

Always support Tom and HOG but this song really isn't one of my favs but the message is well taken. Asia is right when she said "He needs to give himself a break". And by break that might not even mean not working on music...it just means ease off the self criticism because its wandered into the realm of the unhealthy. Just do your best and try to be better than you were yesterday.

Everyone wants to be famous but no one realizes what comes with that. He is showing us the bad side of fame. He also bringing awareness to men’s mental health. We talk about mental health but not when it comes to men as much as we should. That was my take away from it. HOG family we will watch his back.

Toms ok he’s just expressing himself, I can assure you he’s fine and he’s just dealing with his demons publicly. He’s feeling alone on the top however, I can assure you he’s fine.
