When I first heard this song, it was done by an Irish artist by the name Ronan Keating, a lead singer from the Irish boyband called Boyzone. Speaking of songs, Can you please do a reaction to Scars by Ronan Keating. This is an underrated song and it talks about events in your life that may leave scars on you and they shape you throughout your life. I would be very much happy if you did a react to the song. Much love from Ghana 🇬🇭🇬🇭

I'm not crying... you're crying. Everytime I listen to this song , I also cry. A guy. 46. But it reminds me of my exwife and the pain just comes back. Then the sympathy for someone who's going through such a traumatic life altering and isolating experience. The words and her voice combine make the perfect package of sadness.

Yup. When I was a kid, (about 18) I met a guy at a club. It was during the summer and I was home and my mom picked up on the fact that he always called during the day (e.g. from work). We did some sleuthing and found out he was married, but had it not been for my mom, I'd have never have known.

Hope this Helps.... Love from USA MINNESOTA! Sugarland’s “Stay” is the first of the duo’s chart-topping songs to solely be written by singer Jennifer Nettles. Although she has never lived the storyline of the song, she knew the subject of betrayal is something everyone could relate to, yet she wanted to tell the story from a different viewpoint. The song was written four years ago and inspired by Reba McEntire’s “Whoever’s in New England,” which was written from the perspective of a wife whose husband is cheating on her. Nettles knew countless songs written from that viewpoint but none from the other two people involved. She says most people don’t realize that even the person who is doing the cheating gets hurt as well. “Even though the person who is cheating might think he or she is getting away with something, they know they aren’t living their highest truth,” she says. “And they wouldn’t be in the situation if they were just happy-go-lucky in the first place. Nobody is happy in this situation.” Once she decided to write the song from the other woman’s perspective, Nettles was overwhelmed with emotions and says the song pretty much wrote itself. Kristian Bush, the other half of Sugarland, remembers being blown away by the lyrics the first time he heard the song. Bush says they often got odd looks from audience members wondering whether the song had anything to do with his and Nettles’ relationship. Bush is married and says his relationship with Nettles is a brother-sister relationship. His “big brother” instincts came out when they taped the video for “Stay,” as Nettles became overwhelmingly emotional. Bush recalls, “Immediately, I was just like, ’Everybody stop. Stop this! Y’all leave the room. Y’all made her cry.’ I was like a knuckle-draggin’ dad or a husband or something. I was really freaked out.” He went to console Nettles, who had stepped out of the room, and offered to send everyone home, saying they could continue taping the following day. But Nettles assured him she was fine and continued to cry during the next three takes, making it hard for Bush to watch. “About that time, I’m spent,” he said. “It’s not even noon and I’m emotionally drained. They had to tie me down to watch all of this happen. It was like watching someone torture your friend.”

Come on folks. Nettles wrote the song (there is this thing called Google) that was inspired by Reba McEntire's song. Nettles would go on to divorce her husband 5 years after she wrote the song, but it had nothing to do with infidelity. Nettles is simply a great singer and is able to interject emotion into her performances. In this case so much she started to cry. The filming of the video was halted until she could compose herself and then was completed. It was then decided to edit in some of Nettles' crying for dramatic effect.

That song and especially the video hits you right in the feels. I love the raw emotion by Jennifer and how she’s hurting, begs him to stay with her, but develops strength as the song progresses until she tells him to stay away. This topic may be uncomfortable for some but Country tells it like it is and if there’s any emotion that you’re dealing with, this genre will bottle those feelings up and make music that will hopefully help you. Great songs along the lines of this one, about infidelity, realizing your mistakes, or even getting the courage to break free from a damaging relationship are All These Years by Sawyer Brown; Promises, Reasons I Cheat, and Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart by Randy Travis; It’s Your Call by Reba McEntire; and You Were Mine by the Dixie Chicks. Man, I’d love for you to react to those songs!!! Thank you, we appreciate what you’re doing and for taking our requests!

Just starting the video. Love Sugarland and know Jennifer's story. Now to see if even if you don't know the band who catches the video showing her wedding ring over and over and over again? She is the wife in this song. She was actually divorcing her husband when she wrote this song. She decided to stop begging him to be a husband. Wife's perspective but very creative. But for those who didn't know the director was sure to even show Chris's wedding band not just Jennifer's which was shown over and over to make the point that she was the wife here.

First they become “just friends “ then they are convinced the guys wife is a horrible human being and her man friend is a great guy but so miserable. They feel like they should rescue him from his situation. Some day while sharing feelings alone the cross that line. She is now in love as the “other woman “ and I lives in Misery till she finally gets past the point of the girl of this song.

It can be taken either way. She is either the mistress or the woman who is getting cheated on. I think it is more of she is the mistress who finally decides to get up off of her knees.

She is definitely the other woman in this song. No question. I suppose you could come at it like she got what she deserved. But consider that maybe she met him and started a relationship and fell in love with him before she knew he was married. And once she knew she couldn’t change how she felt and he was telling her he was going to leave the wife for her. She isn’t the one that took vows to someone to be faithful, he did. It’s a different perspective on the other woman.

She is one more young woman looking for love and he wanted to have his cake and eat it too. He lied to her and she believed it until she finely woke up to the truth.

She had just served the divorce papers the day before this recording was made. Those are real tears because of her emotions at that time.

You are so emotional, divine. You are Woman. As god meant you to be. I would love for you to react to Melancholy Man by Moody Blues.
