/ @ziomekreacts7647
Produced by: Stevie Wonder
Released In: September 28, 1976 On "Songs in the Key of Life" Album.
Steve Lodder writes that the song can be understood in two different ways. It compares and contrasts the difference between the negative attitude of someone who has a flawed past, and the positive outlook of someone who wishes for a perfect future in this life or the next. Or, the song may be understood as Wonder describing how me-first materialism and laziness cannot compare to a strong work ethic which brings the great reward of heaven.

Welcome to the world of the musical genius. Be singing since a young child up to 40Plus years. 1960's 1970's Stevie Wonder was so good 1980s and few hits 1990s. Talented voice and musician and song writer with a great sense of humor

is 100% blind, which makes him even more amazing, if you think about it, he hast to memorize every line. He can’t read it from a piece of paper same thing when he plays instruments it all has to be memorized such high respect for Stevie Wonder! You should check out the live performance at the Grammys with Coolio and Stevie joins in, when he walks in it is so powerful!

Stevie Wonder is indeed blind, these are only false rumors. The strings are in fact on a synthesizer which Stevie Wonder was a pioneer in the 70s. I advise you to listen to his masterpiece album "Songs in the key of Life" from which this song comes. It includes other classics such as "Sir Duke", "Isn't she Lovely" or "As". Note that his repertoire is 80% composed by himself and plays most of all the instruments on each album! A genius ..

I’m a 71 year old African American and history buff. Your commentary going back to slavery was quite accurate. I heard Shaq tell that story but no, Stevie is 100% blind.
