Funny thing I've listened to eminem since eminem show, I listened to everything till I was sick of listening to it. Then I got older and I started listening again and I actually realised what he was doing with words and re listened to all his songs and I was hearing/understanding a new bar everytime I played the song, these are songs I've heard 1000x and I was still hearing new shit in old songs

the reason Em is one of the best, is because he is constantly evolving as an artist. Em 20 years ago is totally different than Em 15 years ago, which is totally different than Em today. It's why he's still around and relevant. He doesn't stagnate. Sure, you have some great new talent that always comes along, but they tend to get so stuck on themselves that they can't change, and they just become a footnote in the arts because they get stale. if you look at the great musicians of any genre, you see that they grow and change as times goes by. The Beatles, Elvis, MJ, Eminem, Mozart... They all constantly reinvented themselves over and over again.
