One of my favorite songs from the Pretty Women soundtrack!!!

She was Marie Fredriksson, she was born in Sweden the 30th May, 1958. Sadly, after 17 years fighting against brain cancer, Marie passed away (09/12/2019). She sang in Roxette but also she had an interesting career in Swedish as a solo artist.

They are from Sweden, and the song was the love theme from Pretty Woman.

Facts

This was from a Spanish Promo concert in a club, for the Room Service Album (if memory serves). Which is why she modulated her voice to be softer than the booming and high notes she could express in full stadiums, concert halls/arenas, better version would have been from the Joyride Tour, or even the Unplugged concert.

WOW THE flashbacks to the 90s she is Swedish, the song "It Must Have Been Love" - Pretty Woman soundtrack

It was actually written by the male half of the duo, Per Gessle. In fact he wrote the vast majority of their songs. Although Marie was a fantastic songwriter herself. It's great you reacted to a live version, but you do miss out on the full range of her vocals from the studio version.

Where I come from, nobody knows, where I’m going. Everything goes, the wind blows, the sea flows, and only God knows. RIP Marie. You battled courageously and live on forever in your music.

Julie Robert's received Oscar Nominations for Best Actress.... 4th Highest Grossing film of all time ! Currently still Disney's highest Grossing R Rated film of all time . Deadpool vs Wolverine will probably break that ! Biggest song of the 90s was kinda a tie between Elton John's Candle in the Wind and Nirvana' s Teen Spirit ...... This Roxette song didn't even come out in the 90s .... 1987 ! Maybe stop insulting people and talking crap about people not knowing anything...... when clearly you have a lot to learn yourself !
