Yeah Ren is definitely where he is for a reason!

Loving your attitude & persistence in expanding your knowledge. Your Ren reactions are improving greatly, as well. I stuck around for almost all your Ren reactions hoping that you'd get used to his British accent, so when you pulled up lyrics I thought that was FANTASTIC!! I loved how you pushed yourself but so much of Ren's content still goes over your head. The main problem is his bars & metaphors are so very poetic & cerebral in nature. It's not your fault you're having a hard time my friend, it just shows how atrocious the public school system is in America. Keep working on yourself because we should only stop learning when we're dead and gone. 💪🏽✌🏽

Idk about the public system in America cause maybe some understand some things better then others, wouldn’t completely put that on the public system as we all as adults just kinda lack the understanding of the next, I do appreciate you tho in reference to me trying to actually figure out and appreciating me trying cause I sure do be trying I like music that tests me and Ren does just that, so in open for the test! Honestly, don’t beat yourself up for not understanding Ren’s accent - nearly all Americans have problems with it. You did well by checking out the lyrics properly, rather than a lot of American reactors who just pretend they know what he’s saying, and it’s obvious that they don’t . I know Garland. I live in Gainesville. Straight north on I- 35 (75 miles or so) So glad your honest about your reactions . Anyone who jumps on the Ren train needs to start with Hi Ren . Ren has Lymes disease and was misdiagnosed for years and it took a toll on his mental health as well as physically damaging. After hi Ren please jump straight to Sick boi. I think what you did by going out into your own community and giving something of yours to someone who could use them more than you is what sets you apart from ppl all over the world. I know you touched all those ppls lives that you interacted with even if the shoes would t fit them. Also I really admire you for not only wanting to bring attention to mental health awareness for everyone but especially bringing mental health awareness to how you said the black male community. Its a gift to be able to see a need in your community and be willing and able to do something about it. What is going to make the most significant impact in that is the fact that you are able to empathize and communicate in their language and the culture of your texas community. I hope no matter what challenges come your way you are able to fight through them because you will make a much needed difference in the world we live in today. I truly love the human you are. @@TheDonDann OP was making a pun. The Police was a huge UK band in the late 70s and 80s. They had a very reggae inspired sound and Sting was the frontman. Message in a Bottle was one of their biggest hits, and the reason people rewatch that section is that Ren maintains his own flavor to it, but he still very much matches the energy and feel of Sting's version. The first part of the video was a cover of Back on 74 by Jungle. It came out in 2023. The original was about a place, but Ren turned it into being about a time. He keep the funk feel of the original, but completely changed the tempo and note runs. The only part that was original was the rap section between the two covers.
