The video always gives you more to the story. I think it’s assumed that she was pregnant, which is why she was throwing up. And him and her father didn’t agree and he left and got in a wreck and died. Breaks my heart!

This song hit me really hard because a few years ago on Christmas Eve my boyfriend was leaving my house and he was killed in a car accident not very far from my home so every time that I hear this song I think about him my heart still hurts from his death and it always will .

My husband dropped dead in front of me 5 years ago. He was controlling and abusive. Hid from kids. Stayed for them. He such great guy!!!. Comes at any age to not speak truth. Bad example for daughters and sons. Lost daughter cuz daddy girl didn't believe me. Son went military moved. 7 grandkids. Will not go to my grave never saying the truth. I hurt everyday. Always there for everyone last 35 years condition. Always for everyone. No matter how much it hurts speak truth.

Have only seen this video a few times, but every time I see it it makes me cry.

I recommend the Aaron Lewis version of this song. It don't have a visual to go with it, but it's my opinion that it has much more heart in it.

My sister died at 17 in a car wreck .. she was in the car w a drunk driver and she was not drinking .. two made it and two in the back died .. that was 1980.. but it still hurts .. this song makes me think of her ..

I remember when I began elementary, a young brother and sister who went to my school left their house after their parents got into a fight.. They ended up wrecking into a small creek than ran beside the dirt road, and they died. My school bus went by the site every morning, and a friend would point out a piece of metal in the creek and claim that it was remnants from their vehicle. It was a tiny school that only went up to the 8th grade, so they couldn't have been more than 14-15 years old. This was in the 1990's.. The school planted a small tree on the school grounds for them, I believe.

The time-line of the video is backwards a bit The first part shows her and her parents reaction to the news of the girls Bf death -Girl and boyfriend tell mom& dad she's pregnant. -The dad kicks the boyfriend out -Boyfriend leaves gets in a rollover wreck and dies -Girl and her parents learn the news which upsets the mom who is also seen on the floor crying - Girl after dealing with initial shock becomes enraged at her father who she blamed as the cause for her BF dying ( thinking that if he hadn't have kicked him out then he would be alive) This is such a good song and Amazing video
