Honestly.... it's actually quite impossible to digest an Eminem song after just one listen anyway. You still really don't get a rough idea until you've heard it at least 3 times. Yes, his flows, cadences, rhymes, and wreckless disregard for his contemporaries and social norms is unrivaled. Everyone knows that about Eminem. What they don't know is how intellectual, emotive, inspiring, and artistic he is too. Every new track he records is put to obsessive amounts of scrutiny so that nothing ever leaves the studio not meeting his extremely high standards. The man is unprecedented in his wide ranging skill set. There will never be another Eminem again. Ever. Everyone should recognize his talent and achievements right now and give him his credit while we still have him.

His comedy timing is brilliant as well. In terms of song writers Weird Al is number 1 (longevity) and Eminem is in the very close #2 spot. What a mashup concert that would be!

one of the biggest things about EM is you gotta know Major historical events, Serial Killers, and Hip-Hop, Like that Summa lamma dimma lamma is from A verse on Supersonic, it sounds like jibberish but its a callback to the old school rappers. if you don't know it you miss the significance and relevence and it just sounds like nonsense for no reason

You have to know sometimes....what was said on previous albums.... or songs.... to understand what he says later on songs. I was seriously start with the 1st album and work my way through! 😁❤

Em can't be cancelled. They have tried since he came out in 1998. He even made a song about it called "Tone Deaf". The more music you listen to, the more you will see he can changeup cadences with ease over the same beats. Sounds like you are still real new to Em, so I'd suggest if you gonna go through his history go back to his first EP. He makes lots of references to previous track you will not catch the meaning of. Especially since you take the time to break down the lyrics a bit. Also keep in mind Eminem likes to use doubles where the same lyric will have 2 meanings.

I like how you take the time to listen to the lyrics, you can't just listen to an Eminem song once like you can listen to an Eminem song 20 times and still catch something new and the more you listen the easier it gets to catch.

Many if Eminem's songs require listening to multiple times before you begin to like and eventually love them... much like B.o.B, Redman, or even much of Kanye West and Kid Cudi's music. Because it's over complex and heavily modified and specific beats and doesn't necessary follow typical song structure or format. The chorus is often much less highlighted or featured compared to most modern hit music
