I beg you to go down this rabbit hole. Im 53, ive seen legends live and none of them coupd touch this band in the early 90's. Their shows were long and sounded like the albums. Certainly the greatest vocalists ove ever heard live.

Awesome song! I do love me some Queensryche! Great pick today my friend…..you were oh so right that I’d like today’s reaction! 😊 I saw them back in 1995 for the Promised Land tour, they played a long 27 song setlist! It was an amazing show! I’m curious as to what’s in store for tomorrow??

Awesome, "Anybody Listening?" is one of my most favorite Queensrÿche songs! 💖 I went to high school with Geoff and we became good friends our senior year and for a several years after but slowly lost touch and we haven't talked in a few decades.

WHHHHHHAAAAATTTTT????? 😵🤯 That's amazing!! Imagine being able to say "I was friends with the singer of Silent Lucidity"? Oh wait, you don't have to imagine!! Hopefully I will get a video up someday of me singing it, I've loved singing that one since it came out. Glad I reacted to one of your favorite QR songs today. I've loved the few that I've heard here, especially Suite Sister Mary!

Haha, I was just thinking the same thing. Until I'm 6 feet under, I still have a chance to finally record and post my own music to KZread! Hopefully sooner than later... I've actually posted 1 of my songs here, but it's really short. I need people to hear how good (or bad) my music sounds haha....
Silent Lucidity should be next.

@@retroreactions.... Got 4 or 5 albums from them. Empire is a masterpiece from begining to end. Prefer them to Dream Theater. The next album is awesome too (Promised Land). And the previous too (Operation mindcrime). The perfect mix between metal and prog.

Saw them in 1981 at a small club when they came on the scene in LA. One could tell they were on their way. Best I Can or Empire please from this album. Thanks!

Totally agree! Empire is perfection!!! The songs...The performances...The production...It's all there! I love Mindcrime, but Empire is the one I've consistently listened to for 34 years!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I recommend the entire Empire album! Their previous album Operation Mindcrime is amazing too, but Empire is my fave. Happy listening 😃

Good call! SS is on the schedule for Saturday. Since they get lots of views and thus are in higher demand, I do them more often than any other band 😊
Hi Brandon. Good, but a bit heavy for me. You've said a few times you like the dark melancholic stuff. You've really got to get into IQ. I've mentioned 'Ever' in your time frame. The two last tracks are a gorgeous finish 'Leap of faith' and 'Came Down' particularly. You'll love it! (18+mins). There's a showing from 4 yrs ago on YT which adds on a banging live version of 'The Darkest Hour' (another 11 mins.) A lot is very Banksish and majestic.

Hmmm... on Spotify "Came Down" is only about 6 minutes, not 18+. Are there 2 versions of the song?

Sorry Brandon, vino suspected... Yes 'Came down' only 6+mins. I include 'Leap of Faith' 7mins mainly because it runs into came down seamlessly. Good track though. 'Further Away' with a Genesis time signature developing in the middle as magnificent. At 15mins, a great stand alone piece? You'd do well with any combination. but for me 'Came Down' is the absolute star! Can't wait.
