According to Neil Tennant from the Pet Shop Boys, “Domino Dancing” was inspired by a trip he had in the Carribean, on the island of St. Lucia. ““In the evening there was nothing to do except play dominoes; this friend of ours [their personal assistant and Chris’s roommate, the late Pete Andreas] always used to beat us, and he used to do this celebratory dance.”

Wohoo, from DM to PSB! This is one of my favorite songs by them, this period they were so incredibly good 😍 I believe domino dancing refers to a girl basically hooks up with one guy after another and they're falling for her like dominoes...check out the official music video, the story is clear there I think.

this is my second favorite song after It's A Sin (1987). that Latin American tune make me memorize about the summer sun in Miami, Florida even though i've never been there.

West end girls is a legendary song that will live in music history for ever as one of the greatest synth songs of all time

I saw them in concert with New Order a couple of months ago. Both groups have loads of good songs. Not sure what you’ve done from PSB, but here are a few other good ones: West end girls It’s a sin Opportunities Always on my mind Love comes quickly Heart

Btw, if you want to start Radiohead songs in order in near future, you should start with Creep (their most infamous song) and then go into Paranoid Android, after that you should listen to their whole discography from Pablo Honey to A Moon Shaped Pool. Would be nice if you would also listen to their b-sides from every album, they are very good

@@SephPlays they started in 1986 when they were teenagers, after some time they changed their name to Radiohead, released Drill EP in 1992 which contains mostly original versions of songs from Pablo Honey, the only exception being the song "Stupid Car" which I think you should listen to after you finish the main Pablo Honey b-sides. There is also the song "Pop is Dead" which is very hated by the band but you should also listen to it, its not really that bad. You may like them because they did a lot of experimenting through the years, it's a amazing band.
