Jordan (the lead) always had the most amazing falsetto. He was definitely my crush of the 90's - lol. They did this one later in their career. They did an amazing tour with Backstreet Boys a few years ago as well. New Kids On The Block formed in 1984...they achieved success and were huge in 1989 into the early 90's....they disbanded in 1994. They reunited in 2007 recorded an album in 2008 (which this song Dirty Dancing is on) the album is titled The Block. They also toured in 2010 to 2012 with the Backstreet Boys as NKOTBSB. They received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2014... They released 2 other albums since "The Block" and have been touring with other artists from the 80's and 90's... I recently saw them in concert back in June along side Salt n Pepa, Rick Astley, and En Vogue....And they still have it going on! You should check out some of their old stuff like Please Don't Go Girl, I'll Be Loving You Forever, You Got It The Right Stuff, Step By Step, Tonight, Games....so many more lol....or you could react to their recent stuff like Remix (I Like The), Single featuring NeYo, The Whisper, Boys in the Band and the most recent one Bring Back The Time featuring Salt n Pepa, Rick Astley, and En Vogue.... I think the autotune is b/c they released that song in 2008-ish, and that was the "sound" at the time. DD is one of my faves, but check out "Remix (I like the)" for a not-so-autotuned performance.

You should check out more New Kids songs from “The Block” album ‘08, so many great tunes and a lot of collabs. They worked with New Edition, Akon, Lady GaGa, Ne-Yo, and Nicole Scherzinger, such a great album produced by Red One. And another poster here mentioned “Click Click Click”, yes definitely the album version that tune! Also, “Never Let You Go” is a great R&B song produced by Teddy Riley from the Face The Music album ‘94.

It's funny how the "auto tune" is such a problem with this song since literally most of their songs old or new don't use any auto tune and they actually sing live..etc.. it's a 14 year old song and that was the "sound" at the time is all. I can't imagine how you guys feel about most hits in the 2000s if autotune is such a issue. They at least can sing live unlike most of the popular artists in this genre in the 2000s..
