For real you can basically just do every song from the Illmatic album, it’s arguable the greatest hip hop album of all time… That album dropped in early ‘94, go back and listen to how basic most rappers flows were in the 80’s and early 90’s, he basically took the baton from lyricist like Rakim and Kool G Rap and ushered hip hop into modern times with his flow. That’s also why he’s arguably the GOAT. (But of course their were other great artist that came in around his time too, Biggie, Jay Z, Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang, etc)

Illmatic is the most important hip hop album of all time. NaS is still making bangers and has not lost his pen game after 32 years in the game.

Illmatic came out in 1994. Nas is born in 1973. He was 21yo. (But he was almost 19 when his song with Main Source came out in 1991)
