First time hearing Måneskin - VALENTINE (Vocal ANALYSIS)

Damiano David's voice is striking! I immensely enjoyed the band's sound as well. I kept hearing the sound of another vocalist in my head while listening, and towards the end of the video, I FINALLY identified the influence... Free Voice Lessons: chrisliepe.com/free-your-voice/

Damiano from the beginning was a powerhouse and with time his voice and technique got so refined and unique. He has such a unique timbre, raspy but so clear and powerful and recognizable. Also the way he emotes is so believeble and his versatily. Torna a casa the unplugged version is a masterpiece and highly recommend

They are as much rock'n'roll as there is now. What appeals to me is that they tell stories in their songs, not just emotional yet senseless bs that's been in the trend lately.

I discovered this band about 2 years ago. F’n amazing and fantastic live. Saw them in Nashville in October and Miami last year. Damiano the lead singer is a fantastic frontman. The Italian songs are even more beautiful vocally. In Nashville he covered Jolene by Dolly Parton and the rap Megahit Humble by Kendrick Lamar, in addition to 20 or more originals. The rest of the band is great for their young age. They are clearly Rock and Pop Rock, and usually avoid overproduction and auto tune. Their previous album Teatro d’ Ira is a masterpiece of Rock although mostly in Italian.

Thank you for this analysis, you have found some interesting hints to me about Damiano, which I often find similar to Matthew Bellamy for his ways of expressing most of his lines. Regrettable that among many good rock bands we have in Italy only Maneskin could make it to the international scene though, and even more regrettable that this phenomenon couldn't at least open the way for other rock bands to get attention.

Hi Chris, I like your analysis of Damiano's performance. I'm usually here because of Ren but I'm a Maneskin fan since they came second in Italy's X factor (at that time they were nearly all underage) and then started their international career after winning the Eurovision contest Even if I like their older songs better (check Teatro d'Ira album) Damiano's use of his voice got better and better. They started their career busking in Rome's streets and they have a lot of live stuff you can check out I personally love the 1Live Wdr sessions (for your love, La paura del buio, Lividi sui gomiti...) even if at that time Damiano was abusing his voice a lil bit. Anyway good job (as usual). I look foward to your next analysis and reaction!

Я лично, по своему вкусу, предложила бы послушать -- "Il dono della vita" lyric video with subtleties. PEACE ❤️☮️❕️ kzread.info/dash/bejne/nZueyZlxm5iTm5c.htmlsi=tV7qVTC6mH9qNNYd
