Two great country legends. Hard to believe this was the first time that Loretta Lynn & Willie Nelson teamed up to do a duet with “Lay Me Down” in 2016. Willie is now 89 years old & Loretta is 90 years old. Not many left anymore of the true pioneers of country music.
RIP Loretta. We have lost Loretta and Willie is 90. All of our icons are leaving us and we are not ready. Thank you for reacting to this great performance.
Goosebumps from the first note Loretta sang. I love this song. The writer Mark Marchetti is Loretta’s son in law. He did an amazing job on this song.
I love that their voices weren't "pitch perfect". It had all the emotion, the feeling and the experience of having lived a full life. Reminds me of Johnny Cash doing Hurt. All of these legends bring more to the table than even they can realize. I cried listening to this song, knowing that she was being "laid down" for her final journey. Soaring on the wings of a dove I wish her nothing but Peace. I saw the angst in you while you listen Craig. Thank you for showing that it meant more to you than you wanted to admit. Stunning, classic and beautiful.
Toby Keith just cancelled tours as he has bad stomach cancer Prayers to Toby
You said more great duets, how about a triple Great combo, Dolly,Tammy and Loretta. Silver Threads and Golden Needles at the CMA awards.
I love your reactions to country music. You show such admiration and you feel it all the way to the heart.
My first time hearing this song also! I think it was very emotional for the both of us. It's mostly emotional for me because just recently lost my Dad one week before his 95th birthday & I know he is at peace now because he is with my Mom again & with The Heavenly Father! God Bless you & your family! Peace, Happiness & Love from Alabama in the USA!
This is beautiful two of countries greatest.
Two awesome country stars..Wynonna Judd and Clint Black "A Bad Goodbye" is great older country.
Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton's You Can't Make New Old Friends is a song like this for me, two older legends, looking back on life and giving us all a message of wisdom.
I lost my mother 3 weeks ago and this song is absolutely tearing me apart.
Their voices go straight to my heart ❤️
Such a beautiful song---so beautifully sung!! Miss Loretta: Queen of all things!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
True Country music icons. This is so damn bitter-sweet. I love these two but also know that none of us can last forever. 😥❤️
It made meee cry...
Never heard this before. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful ❤.
I can’t help but feel while watching this that it was like watching two of the last greats signaling the end of a bygone era. If you haven’t seen It’s All Going To Pot with Willie and Merle yet, you should definitely check that out. Also Dolly and Kenny’s You Can’t Make New Old Friends.

Kenny Chesney song, back where I come from is written about my home town!! By Mack McNally
One of my favorites with legends is The Blues Man duet by George Jones and Dolly Parton! Their voices are so different but they sound amazing together.
What a great reaction. Such a moving song, too. It was like your Grandparents telling you it will be okay , when they go.
💖💖💖💖💖
2 legends singing together.....no other words are needed...❤❤❤
Fabulous. Willie has done duets with everybody. Loretta with a few. That’s the first time I’ve heard the two of them together. It was awesome. Thank you!
When I was a child, about 6 years old, I met both of these people, I sat on Willies knee and he sang a song with me, Loretta is my moms cousin, my mom sang with her a couple of times that I remember, it was in the early to mid sixties. It amazes me these two are still here and we are all so much older, my mom passed away several years ago. I don't remember what song I sang with Willie, I'm sure it was probably Mary Had A lil Lamb or something a child would know. I just remember being there with some other relatively unknown artists back then with a few hundred other people. None of these people could ever appear in person like they did then. They just rolled up in their busses or cars and walked out on stage, played, then mingled with the crowd.
Rip queen
You should check out one of my favorites Willie Nelson and Kimmie Rhodes "Love Me Like a Song"
Here's another duet that I feel sure you will enjoy hearing "Jamey Johnson and Alison Krause singing "Seven Spanish Angels" Live in Washington D.C. in HD" I believe I've seen you react to both of these Legends. Willie is in the audience, and I believe this night was solely dedicated to Willie Nelson. (if I'm wrong please correct me) anyway, just beautiful stuff 🔥🎸🤗💖✌✌🎶

If you like the old time country style songs then you have to listen to Travis Tritt and Patty Loveless sing Out of Control Raging Fire. This is sung in the 1940s 50s style.
Please react to Duet: Leanne Womack and Willie - Manocino County Line Willie and Emmylou Harris - I Never Loved You Chills All The Way Through
Two of the legendary voices from the Opry Golden years....... not many of this caliber left.... To quote a George Jones song.... 'Who's going to fill their shoes?'
I recommend Willie Nelson - fun songs. Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die (Live Version) by Willie Nelson Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard - It's All Going to Pot (Official Video) by Willie Nelson
Two OG's being who they are
The Judds song “Love can build a bridge” written by Naomi Judd. I just love it.
try Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, Its all Going to POt
I've never heard this before. The title first confused me. Ms. Lynn's long time best friend and duet partner, Conway Twitty, had a hit song called I'd Love To Lay You Down. But it was about a completely different subject.

📌 We Americans have always been “the melting pot.” It’s in our history and our music. We came here from all over the world to express our diversity. I love rock, jazz, soul and country music equally. Who are the true Americans? Well, we are the ones who value differences, and yet we will fight along side you for freedom. I come from Wales and Germany. My parents raised me to value other people and nations.
She's a hundred years old here ?????
