You call that an entertainer. China seems like they are hitting a wall with true entainer talents. Yes, young Chinese guy sings good but. that you going take you only so far in Japan. en entertainers likes Misia, Tamaki, will take you beyound.

I love Dimash with my entire heart. and when he sings the song, he breaks my heart. But when Koji sings this song he breaks my soul.

This version is so gut-wrenching! The first few times I viewed this, I was a sobbing puddle of tears! This is not like his original recording in 1989. Check out that original version, as it's more "mainstream/poppy" sad song. This version in his later years is so much more; direct from his soul!! 🎶♥️🎶♥️

This man is a legend in Japan. The thing about Japanese singers is they put their heart and soul into their musicianship. I haven’t heard Dimash do this song but I’ll take Koji’s version, the original voice, any day. I’m not really fond of covers because a lot of people forget the original artist and give credit to the ones who cover. This song has beautiful lyrics and music. It’s a classic. I get tears in my eyes each time I hear him sing this song. ❤

Without detracting from Dimash’s performance of this composition, these two talents perform it beautifully in different ways. Dimash's performance conveys youthful love suffering. At the same time, Koji Tamaki with his performance represents the feelings of a mature, I would say, seasoned man. but both performances equally stir the heartfelt emotions.

Different emotions come with both versions, I can't compare nor decide which one I like more.

First time hearing about Dimash, I only know about Tamaki Koji version of the song.

This is double meaning.(日本人にはそう聞けちゃう) At that time, I was in a remote area, so I went to the palliative ward where she is housed every weekend. At first, she was able to take a walk in the hospital, but every time I met her, she became emaciated. On the Tohoku highway on my way home, I couldn't stop crying and hit the steering wheel... "Why is she?" No matter how much I cried and shouted, she would never come back. Mr. Tamaki's songs and the way he sings them vividly remind me of how I felt at that time.

Dimash has sung both the versions of this song. And I agree, as an older man and being the creator of this song, he really feels the words/music they created. The studio version is not as emotional.
