Thank you for your reaction to Forestella Kang Hyeong-ho. He was the vocalist of the rock band PITTA before joining Forestella. He had never had vocal training, he could just sing in a soprano voice. He became a member of Forestella and became a counttenor. But in reality he sounds more like a soprano than a counttenor. He works hard at Forestella's performances, but also releases his own songs at PITTA. The difference between Hyungho Kang as a PITTA and Hyungho Kang as a soprano is huge. Thank you for your reaction to PITTA (Kang HyungHo of Forestella). He was working as a research chemist in Lotte BP Chemical; quite good company providing high salary when he auditioned at Phantom Singer 2. As the audition was designed for making a (good-looking) classical crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea, there were bunch of opera singers who majored in classical vocal and well-known musical actors. He was the only office worker who majored in (chemical) engineering in whole participants. But he used to sing as a vocalist in an amateur rock band (the band name was Pitta but it became Pittaband afterwards) in his leisure time. He stole the show singing the Phantom of the Opera duet song by himself. His audition clip has more than 4 millions views now only from Koreans as JTBC didn't release the video for abroad..if it was shown in the KZread at that time, he could be known to the world like Paul Potts in Braitain's Got Talent. He wanted to sing from his juvenil days but his parents didn't agree him to go to art school. So his music life started since he joined the rock band in the university. Even after graduation he continued the band and won the Grand-Prix in the labourers' band contest in Busan. His sensational audition song- the Phantom of the Opera was his killer repertoire from that contest. He used to cover Muse so he developed his falsetto that good. (He has very talented voice tho, great singing technique, too.) He said he thought he could quit from the music regretlessly with criticism he would get. But BAAMM! Thanks God he failed to quit from music! He quit from the research chemist job instead. lol He quit his research chemist job 1 year after the debut as Forestella. He would have worries and considering about career and steady salary, stable life but finally chose the life of professional musician. As a fan of him and of Forestella I truly appreciate for his decision from heart. I have been their fan for almost 5 years now... and believe me.. I still cry and have goosebumps every time I hear them.. Je suis malade is a masterpiece without a doubt. I really do recommend it. we like your true reaction.

They all have solos. I went to their concert. When he pulled this out I couldn’t decide whether to be in awe or burst out laughing (realizing immediately he was gonna have to sing both parts). He kept fussing with his in ear…I didn’t know if he was adjusting the volume back & forth or getting that annoying time delay thing or what but by the end I was like “Oh he’s quite enjoying this.” It was the ear to ear grin on his face 😂

Ko Woo Rim of forestella is the Bass low voice and also he is the youngest (Maknae).

Forestella members are Bae Doo-hoon - musical actor, baritone~tenor range Kang Hyung-ho - rock, tenor~soprano range Jo Mingyu - leader of Forestella, tenor Ko Woo-rim - bass Phantom of the opera was sung by Kang Hyung-ho. He sang the male & female part of the original song. This is the song he sang for the audition to the Phantom singers show that eventually resulted in the group Forestella being formed.
