Brother thank you for loving our veterans. It makes me cry man.
I cry hard at the father's letter 💌 🥹 every damn time... To those waiting for loved ones stay strong 🙏🏻 To all that have n going to serve God Bless You All.💙
I wrote to my son every day for the 13 weeks that he was in the Marine Corp boot camp - then I started Houston Marine Parents right before his first deployment. Started with 5 Moms and we grew to 157 parents - the thousands of care packages we shipped to those deployed kept us going, sending our love to each of them while they were away. We even adopted some who we found out weren't getting any letters/packages! Thank you for reacting to this - it really does mean a lot to our Soldiers/Marines who fight for our freedom!

You dont know how much of a difference it made for him, i promise! The letters i got in basic training were the only thing i had to look forward to and they mean alot
This song gets me every time. My father was a very hard man when I was growing up and the first time I remember him get emotional was when he told me he was proud of me as I was deploying to Iraq when I was 18 years old.

Same thing with my grandfather. ❤
Every Sunday during church in basic this was one of the videos played. So many tears and it still gets even after all these years out.
I just received all my uncles letters from ww2, he never made it home so this song hits so hard
Your Daddy did good. I love your precious heart. ♥️
This song kills me every time… It came out when my son was deployed to Iraq. It’s a hard one. My dad, my brother, my uncle, my cousin, and my oldest son all served.
My son's a marine, and this song hits home. Thank you
To a son ur dad's approval means a lot

Thank you for your service.
Thx for a good cry. When I was a senior in HS, my fiance' was in the Navy. He was a gunner on a River Patrol Boat. Hard times, heartbreaking memories. Thx for a real reaction.
Away from home on the fire season. The shifts are 14 days with 3 off and constantly away from home and in dangerous situations. Miss them and listen to this regularly 🙏
First time here.... Love your reaction brother. And love you too! You're a strong man.
Yes and I love you back. The same way
God bless our soliders and there family
This is the first video of yours that I have seen. 8 years Army 28 years as a Firefighter/ Paramedic. Hadn’t even gotten through this first video and subscribed
The magic of music
John Michael Montgomery was a hit-maker in the 90s and he has a lot of great songs! My favorites of his are No Man’s Land, Friends, Be My Baby Tonight, I Swear, Life’s a Dance, I Can Love You Like That, How Was I To Know, Rope the Moon, The Little Girl, Hold On To Me, I Love The Way You Love Me, If You’ve Got Love, Long As I Live, and Oh How She Shines.
I wish there were more people like you out there.
My dad was in the Korean and Vietnam war. May he rest in peace. We were just saying my mama told me I wrote him letters, but I can only remember writing him one letter, Lord I miss that man all those letters mean everything to them continue writing. Insert thank you for helping out the veterans and anybody else that you do sometimes you may not know this, but you help us as well with your conversations your prayers and your reactions. Thank you sir.
I served in the Navy from 1972-1998. Thank goodness it was before the advent of email or texting. I have every single letter my wife and I wrote each other including the letter I wrote asking her to marry me in 1980. I was on pins and needles the entire 3 weeks waiting for her reply as I was in the Med at the time. She said "Yes" and we have now been married 43 years and have 4 kids and 4 grandkids. The wife and I read my proposal and her reply every year on our anniversary. Today's military families rely on Zoom calls, text messages and emails to communicate. I doubt they will have copies of those texts and emails to treasure in the years to come. It will be their loss.
Your awesome Rick, much love to you brother!
Never seen your videos before but this popped up for me. You're and awesome human brother! Wishing you well and love ya brotha!
This one hits me hard. Dad was Special Operations when I was growing up. We were never told where he was. Writing a letter very rarely got to him before he was somewhere else or already home. We just watched the nightly news to see where the hot spots were in the world. We just kinda figured that's where Dad was.

Was he aviation or operator??
We love you too ❤️
That last part of the song where his dad tells him he’s proud of him. Man that hit me hard my father didn’t stick around i bet that’s a great feeling
You are an amazing person. Love you too
That part with the dad will NEVER not bring a tear to my eyes. It's just so...deep.
This and "If You're Reading This" Tim McGraw are two of the best that deal with soldiers and their families and the consequences of war for all of them and indeed all of us.
Love you too darlin!!
A big kudos to you .. May God Bless and keep you safe
First time seeing your channel. Love the reaction and subscribed!! Thank you.
I am 72 years old and a USAF Vet. I didn't get a chance to actually serve in Vietnam because my brother was already over there. They would not let me go because of the only surviving son rule, but I did go, post Vietnam and helped in the search for POW camps. Letters are a critical part in helping a soldier cope with all that happens in war. My father also served in World War II , in the Navy, in the South Pacific. There are two songs you should react to about veterans. Trace Adkins "Arlington" and Tim McGraw's song "If You're Reading This.". Thanks so much for your love of others. Keep up the fight with your Veterans that you work with. Your heart is definitely in the right place. Thanks Man.
I unfortunately didn't have anyone to write to me in combat... a 2nd grade class from a nearby school found out and wrote me letters and emails the whole time I was in Iraq..... I brought them a flag that flew over my company while I was on mission... letters are so important
I wanted to be a Marine with every fiber of my being. I was robbed of that privilege by a disability. When I was in high school, I told a recruiter that I knew I couldn't run, jump, etc. well and that I knew what would happen to me over there, but I absolutely did not care. My fate did not matter to me one bit. I just wanted to serve. I will mourn that dream until the day I die. A friend gave me a tie clip from his uniform and told me I would have been a good Marine. I will carry that gift with me every day of my life. To those that I could not call my brothers and sisters, thank you from the very depth of my soul.
I've lost my father and my son when all three of us where in war. My heart still hurts. But your help is amazing
'13 OEF Afghanistan - Army. I take your words to heart. Thank you. Watching you for the first time ever, I'm astounded by your positivity and heart. I've been struggling with PTSD, severe anxiety, anger, depression, chronic physical pain, and I've always been jealous of people who could be so happy. I sincerely wish i could have your attitude, sir. You are a genuine good man. I will admit, my faith has been strained for years, but I'm trying. My 6 year old daughter recently asked me questions about Jesus and I was ashamed that i couldn't give her all the answers. I want to be her way to "the way". I truly think my daughter will be my saving grace. I apologize for rambling. This song always makes me emotional and your words and positivity is inspiring. Much love.
I am sorry about your daddy brother God Bless
Me and my dad didn't have a good relationship my teenage years. Lots of verbal ,mental.abuse and it even came to us trading blowd before,He passed in 2013. I'm now 25 years old and the last part of this song gets me cause I never heard that from my dad.
like your show bud, you are the real deal. your pop would be proud of you. keep up the good videos. god bless
We are all god's children and we love y'all from Florida
This song has always made me tear up but it means a lot more to me now. 2 years ago at the age of 17 my son made the commitment and joined the Army National Guard. We haven't had to deal with anything like this because all he's had to do so far is BCT and AIT, but with all the conflict going on in this world, i'm sure he'll be called out at some point. His dad and I constantly tell him how proud of him we are!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I don't say a lot on you tube. My soul was touched and you brought a tear to my eye because you sir are a beautiful soul. The love you show is immense and hearing you talk about vets touched me deeply. I will look into helping our vets any way I can. May God bless u eternally for you are so kind and warm. This is coming from a new Grandma from a small town called Eastman Ga. I subscribed and can't wait to watch your other videos. My heart has been blessed by you. Take care my new friend. Lots of love to you and your family. Lynn❤
Amen! Love to you & yours ❤️
When I was at FT. Sill in Oklahoma in 1994 I had no Idea that I was only going to be there 2 Months then HOME but also did not know that my Former Middle School would get together and send me Letters From HOME! I wish I still had them but that was 29 years ago I do still have the Memory of that time, still hard to believe I am 10 Months away from 30 Years since I wore The Uniform for The United States Army (I will send a Pic from twitter!) Thanks for doing this one I had not thought about this in some years and it brought it all flooding back with Happy Tears!
My name is NELSON I lost my best friend I want crazy and I cry. I watch you on KZread I love you I live in Manhattan NY City also I enjoy watching you an I also cry with you❤
A great veteran song is Home Free acapela cover of TRAVELIN SOLDIER. Great video too
I remember in basic..,praying my mom and dad didnt wite somerthing embarrassing cuz our TI would randomly read our mail😂❤🇺🇸🇺🇸😘
I surprised my family on my first deployment by answering their letter to me with a “postcard” that I wrote on the side of an MRE cardboard box. We were allowed to send these types of letters via mail for free. What a blessing.
I remember year's ago when My son served first in the Navy and national gaurd I was able to send letters they were out months at a time but I'd send this song thanks love for playing
Amen brother god is LOVE
I’m an army vet and I have much respect for you and all that you do. Thank you! Keep up the awesome work you do!
I’ve got that same blue hand towel 😂
I am so blessed to be able to speak to my husband everyday while he’s deployed. I can’t imagine how much harder it was before FaceTime.
Salute to all our heros in the military thank you for your service and our love❤❤❤❤❤❤
CooL reaction buddy.
This is a great song, but John Michael Montgomery has one that’s even better - ‘The Little Girl’. If you’ve not listened to it before you need to stop what you’re doing and go listen to that song. My condolences on the passing of your daddy. That is a hard thing to deal with, no doubt. God bless.
Hey Rick! Saw this video today. Let me tell you I love you, not sexually but in a human way. I wish there would be more people like you. So sorry about your Dad😢. I know the feeling. Here’s a song which will encourage you to we will see all our loved ones when we truly believe. George Strait. A fathers love ❤️ Hugging you( me old woman)
I'm so sorry for your loss
Have two family members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. My Great Grandfather Lieutenant Colonel Kenneth Olson US Army died 1942 aboard a Japanese Hellship the Oryoku Maru as a POW. Second my cousin US Army Ranger KIA Afghanistan. Having family who’ve served is something to be so proud of and having a family member who didn’t come home is something that you can’t put into words to even describe it. The price of our freedom comes as a high cost remember that.
You should listen to thats my job by conway twitty. That song helped me with my dads passing
Navy veteran here. Thank you for your kind words
Do the little girl by John Michael Montgomery

You would like "Everything I Own" by Bread. David Gates sings the song as a tribute to his dad.
Drive by Allen Jackson

Glad this is on KZread. Haven’t had a shower in a week so I smell like boiled ass. Love your work buddy. I’m an old-er white guy. Also don’t give a damn either way. Keep it up, sorry about your daddy, his race was run and it was time to go home for him. Trust God, He ain’t wrong.
Could you do home by dierks Bentley for the 4th of July
I didn't get no letters from home from basic to when I went to Iraq
I served as a cop
Chase?? My son lost his friend chase 🤔
So it’s pre Mrab. The best and worst care package we received a friend got this huge box full of popcorn, with candy, other junk food, and at the bottom their was a ziplock with something in it. We opened it and there was a wrapped package inside was a dirty diaper. Yeah it was gross but we thought it was funny as hell latter. People don’t understand how we can smell a woman without perfume being on the letter. I kept my sons picture in my helmet I asked him if he wanted it because it had me, his mother and him as a baby in it. The desert scratched it all to hell
Confederate railroad daddy never was the Cadillac kind
Idk if you are as much of an empath as I am or if you are just a great on demand crier but mannn 🥺🥺🥺🥺😆
Let the song play a little more you interrupt too much
Just found you last night Been binge watching your videos most of the night This song is great. Reminds me of waiting on mail call during my army days
