Agreed, just KZread it and watch everything! Easily one of the best artists out there IMO, Eminem even name dropped him! As you hear more, you’ll see his style was a lot like Em! He has clearly evolved and man, Hop is a monster! Love this dude!

Hopsin is by far the most underrated rapper ever. I'll minds 1-9, sag my pants, covid mansion, the purge, ect. Hop is a legend. Everything he makes is magic honestly

I listened to this song this morning and it hit me hard. My dad didnt really put hands on my mom, but me and my siblings all the time. I promised myself back then that I would never do that to my kids.

Hopsin is personally one of my favorite rappers of all time. I'd describe him as the most human rapper, his catalogue often reflects and shows the mental states he's going through in life. You see him thrive, fail, hit road blocks. There's a lot of things I've learned from this man. He's fully independent, makes his own beats, lyrics and takes part in the video's behind the scenes too. Dude did it all on his own from a basement. He can also be a huge clown and shits on the rap game on a regular basis 👌🔥 Definitely check out the ill mind series. Ill mind 1 and 3 are him rapping in his basement fairly early in his career. 4 is a lot of hard bars, humoristic bars and a lot of shock factor. After 4 the series starts to create more conversation due to their topics. I highly suggest checking them out, if not all at least 6, 7, 8 and 9 (9 has some related songs that you should listen to first). Other than that Hopsin just has a lot of fire songs, he has a bit of everything. I hope you go deeper into Hopsin, I'm here for it!

Hey just food for thought he is underrated completely. He actually was with tech9 and strange records as well as he was with Eazy-Es ruthless records but they shelfed him he explains all that in one of my favorites "sag my pants." He actually lost his path and he went and stayed in another country to find himself again. Thank God he did because he's come back ready for 2021. Kumbaya was actually filmed in the country he was stuck in during the country lockdown.

I highly recommend checking out his video he dropped immediately before this music video. No need to do a reaction but its more to get a better understanding of where hes at today. He talks about moving to Thailand and going through therapy and finding himself again and coming to peace with himself. And he says the album he is dropping soon, which includes this song, is from when he was still angry and in a dark place but figured people would still get something from the music he made at that point in time. Besides the Ill Mind series I would highly recommend "Nocturnal Rainbows", "Picasso", and "Kumbaya". Hop is one of those rare artist who mostly do everything themselves. Writing, mixing and mastering, and directing his videos. I don't think he gets enough credit for how intellectual his writing is

Just found this guy myself. What I heard was well executed. I know this story.

I can relate to this song because I went through something similar. when I was 16 I made a vow to myself that my kids are never going to know how I feel. That choice I made to break the cycle.

There's rumors that Hopsin and NF are working on something together. They have similar styles and I really hope this rumor is true! I would love to see them together. I know that NF shared something recently on his Twitter of Hopsin... like hinting they were possibly doing something in the studio. Oh and NF is about to drop something... he made a recent IG post teasing us. He likes to do that and then deletes the posts. LOL

Sounds to me like Dad was a textbook narcissist. Only a few seconds in and he took the words from my daughter's mouth.😞😰😖😭 little further in, thanks be to God that my situation was not the worst of the horror stories. But it sounds like his was definitely up there. And I was lucky enough to be able to wake up and pull myself out of the self blame. Far too many never do, and it sounds like his mom may have been one.

Scoured the comments and didn't see any mention about this. The ending of the song is a reference to what happened to Hopsin in his life in Australia, costing him his relationship and losing custody of his son, along with being banned from even coming to Australia at all. After therapy and even hypnotherapy, he's starting to get his life back together and regaining his relationship with his son at least.. but the ending is more than symbolic, it's a true story.

Oh man, you're getting into Hop too!? Sheesh where to start? lol. He's been around for a looongg time, underground indie rapper. He is controversial somewhat when it comes to the people that don't like him in the industry (like other rappers) and some fans of hip hop because he came into the game shooting shots at everyone lol. He was labeled as a "corny" rapper when he first started because of the songs he did and how he went about it, but the dude is legit a fucking legend. He has a long catalog and has a shit on of conscious music throughout the years. Some people who still call him corny are just people that never changed their perspective on him from when he started, but he is far from corny. He is legit one of the best rappers in the game right now and even Em shouted him out as one of the few rappers keeping the genre alive. Songs like this to react to from him are; The Ill Mind series starting from 5 to 9 (ill Mind 4 is good, but that's a bit of the style a lot of people labeled him as corny, but still really good). You have the song "Fly" is very good and more of this style of messaging, "Lowkey" is another one, "Die This Way" is another one. If you want to listen to Hopsin rap and go in? Shiieeett just pick one lol, dude is a beast old and new. Purge, Witch Doctor, Crown Me, Kumbaya, Picasso, Sag My Pants, Hop is Back, I Need Help, You Should've Known, Covid Mansion, All Your Fault.
