I was a child when her voice was first broadcast on the Golha program, and I remember all the grownup looking at each other and asking one another whose voice that was. Nobody had ever heard a voice like hers: powerful, rich, limitless, and yet very feminine and incredibly sexy. She always gave the impression that she could soar higher and higher with ease, and that she had tons of power in reserve. And whatever she sang, she sang straight from the heart, and it hit the listener in the heart. The song is not sad, but a love song. You have to know the word Qibla, which is the direction muslims pray to, facing Mecca. She says, "My Qibla is soil in front of your door; without the need for wine, I'm drunk from your cup (your lips); I've already fallen into your net, without the need for bird seed (bird catcher analogy). I'm tired and ill, and you're my cure, You're the joy of song and poems in my soul. You're the air in each one of my breaths; I long only for your love and nothing else. My heart has left everything, and its only refuge is you. As long as I'm alive in your heart, nothing else in the world matters. They say to lose oneself in oneself is bliss, but to lose myself in your is my bliss. You're the reason for each action of mine, you're the poet for every song I sing. You're what has lit the fire in my heart, you're the tongues of fire itself. You're the song of my Saaz (a musical instrument), you're the voice the fills each one of my songs, you're each mystery and every one of my secrets, you're the beginning for everything I do . Oh my love, go ahead and set fire to my heart, you must be the bonfire into which I throw myself. Even if I end up in legends, the heat of my love will burn. To die without death, that is the meaning of my love. etc etc.

i think this song was released in the 1970s. to understand the songs attributed to Hayedeh, the meaning of the poem is important, as well as to understand the traditional Iranian musical instruments. certainly hearing this song was not very tangible for you. i suggest you listen to gole sangam to start. thanks for reaction.

Arabian nights and aladin were copied from a persian book named one thousand and one night. Maybe the reason these two are relevant is that they are from the same roots 🙂💖🪷
