George strait is on the country mount Rushmore. He is so good dude. Every song is so good. Just good Ole boy classic country with a story

George Strait had 60 no. 1 hits, you'd have to search long and hard through his catalog to find a song that wasn't good, let alone bad. Brooks and Dunn had a bunch of hits themselves, with this song here, Neon Moon, My Maria, I Believe, and a personal favorite of mine, You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone, to name a few.

He's called King George for a reason. His song The Chair is a great one but my personal favorite is Amarillo By Morning. He once said of himself that he's a rancher that does a little singing. That's our King George.

“Nobody in His Right Mind” from George is a great song. Will make you appreciate the soulfulness that a steel guitar can bring to a song. “Neon Moon” is a Brooks and Dunn classic.

That steel guitar Ken Norris is talking about in “Nobody…” still brings me to my knees 25 years later after I left the girl of my dreams like an idiot. In my opinion that’s his best song and he’s got like 60 something number one hits! I grew up on George and he is definitely the king! Although I have to say I will always love Brooks and Dunn’s version the best!

It's true though I guess. We're all gonna be Old Troubadours at some point. Now if you like some indie country check out the Turnpike Troubadours Good Lord Lorie. One other really underground like country band that just can't seem to make a bad song is Casey Donahew Band if you like country and you haven't heard them check them out. Start with double wide dream or white trash story for some goofy music and Angel or Fallen for more serious music. Every single song of theirs Is pretty dang good.

For George's all time most popular hits, I would go with "All my Ex's live in Texas", "The Chair", "You look so Good in Love" etc etc. but you could honestly pick any song from George's album compilation "50 Number One's". They are all so good. There is a reason he's the King of Country. At this point he's up to 60 number one hits.

So many great songs from George. The Best Day, Still Make Cheyenne. I'd be hard-pressed to point to a single song and say that one there is the best. I'm the strange music fan who is a pretty hardcore metal fan I've done vocals my whole life but dang there is something about country music that makes me happy.

Brooks & Dunn's Electric Rodeo Tour was amazing!!! I used to have the black T-shirt withe lightening all over it.

My First Dance at my wedding was “I Cross My Heart” by George Straight! One of my favorite childhood songs! I remember sitting in the back seat of the car hearing my dad sing to my mom every time it came on! Great song!

Since George Strait is the King of Country , Reba Mcentire is the Queen of Country ; Alabama would be what? Prince's? Alabama is Country Music's most successful Group of all time and is up there across the board. George Strait has had 50 #1 hits and not too far behind is Alabama with 41 # 1 hits as a side note _ Early in their Career Alabama had 21 consecutive #1 hits. As far as I know - no other music artist has accomplished this feat.

Omg! You have to hear the Brooks and Dunn version. George is awesome. First song I ever heard him do is, Amarillo by Morning. You'll see why he won 20.

Two of my favorite songs from George are Amarillo by Morning and All my Exes Live in Texas. George was born and raised in South Texas near San Antonio and he still lives there. He is a genuine person. Acknowledged by most country fans as the current king of country music. Everyone loves George. He was also a calf roper in the rodeo . He also starred in the movie Pure Country. The thing I like about this song is that he did not screw up the original arrangement. A great song by Brooks and Dunn is Believe. The official video is the best.

George and Clay Walker made their careers here in the Beaumont area. My mom was friends with both of them back in the early days. Clay's parents had a huge ranch that he bought for them along 105 between Sour Lake and Beaumont, but it seems like they've either sold it or don't keep it up/pay someone to anymore. I haven't seen any cattle or bison there in years (they used to have HERDS of bison, up until about 3 years ago). But I will confirm that they are both great guys. I haven't seen George since I was a kid almost 30 years ago, but I remember him being a super nice guy. Just "warm" as a personality, ya know?

Growing up in texas we had to learn the line dance for this song back in elementary school during p.e. class lol

Randy Travis, Diggin’ Up Bones. So much good stuff out there. A pure voice from a dude that has been through the ringer. Not always a good guy, but, mostly. His gift has pretty much been taken away from him, but, man, he had a sound.

From my home town of San Antonio TX. My father in law opened up for him a long time ago. There about the same age. George has over 50 number 1 hits.

King George!!! He's my all time favorite!!! The chair is my favorite by him. The pure country album is awesome. And basically every song he's ever sang is amazing!! He has the most number 1 hits in country history. And he's just a super nice man!
