YAY!!!!! It’s pronounced Pho-zee-ah (pho like phone or photo) but thank you SO much for reacting to her!!! You’re going to LOVE her songs! That one she wrote herself and a kid used as their audition piece for AGT/BGT. she has a deep soulful sound that is very rich, yes, she does sound like Adele but when she adds her Moroccan flare to it, it really sets her apart from Adele. Try ‘You Don’t Even Know Me’ (stripped of course) next. She has done covers as well as her own songs, I think there’s one from J. Cole, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga and a few more, plus she has a duet with John Legend, her song called Minefields. She’s amazing! And she’s also studying engineering in university. She sounds like Adele sometimes but based on personal taste only , she sounds better for me , especially recently since she matured a little . This is just the tip of the Faouzia iceberg! Check out "Stripped" versions of some of her most popular songs: "Bad Dreams", "Tears of Gold", "How It All Works Out", "You Don't Even Know Me", "Born Without a Heart". If you prefer live, check out her concert for Arab Heritage - she sounds even better live! She does have some Adele similarities but I think she sounds better - and I know she has more vocal talent (!!!) - she has done a few Adele covers you might check out. Also that hip-hop vibe that she mixes into some songs...she can do it all. She has covers of "Middle Child" and "Starboy" that are excellent!

Yah, she got something special. She’s done covers of Adele and they have similar ranges and styles, so you are not wrong. BTW This song was released with a club beat originally. But as it’s her song, she did this stripped version too. She doesn’t rap, but she did her own version of J Cole’s “Middle Child” a few years back. Might be interesting to check out. Her song “Hero” got some pop airplay last year. The official music video is Disney princess mashed with old school video game. It’s fun. I’m going to got back and check out some of your other reactions. You’ve got an expressive face, which adds to your appeal. ✌🏼

Just based of pure technique Faouzia is actually better than Adele. Faouzia is amazing you should definitely react to more of her. Minefields ft. John Legend Is her most successful song, you should check that out next.

I think that the comparison to Adele is reasonable. They both can sing in that low register, and they can both belt it. I don't think they're the same beyond that. But totally similar in style.

The official video of tears of gold is also very good, I like both versions!!! And no, I don't think she sounds like Adele... Faouzia has a more smooth and flexible voice than Adele!
