Context is very important. The media was trying to cancel him before this song even came out, this is the first song in the MMLP because he wanted to test the world with what is and isn’t allowed to be said. He admits that’s it’s an exaggeration on bashing women, but at the end of the song he said he was just joking. Indicating that all words are permissible as long as it’s a joke.

Eminem is about to drop this kind of album again and we need it badly

The radio stations all over the world wouldn't play his songs even when his album was on top of the charts. The only way to listen to him was via his albums.

Theres plenty of interviews with Dre talking pretty candidly about Eminem. He was practically Dre's favorite topic for awhile. He alternated between fascinated and horrified like the rest of us 😂

Research a little about him. This album was his response to everyone saying he was to violent and crude with his lyrics. Dre told him to do whatever he wants. He's not talking about anyone in particular, but he's talking about the industry and the media trying to shut him down at the time. It's literally all big one sarcastic joke to him at this point

The reason he wins every time is because he puts out content for you to react to and you do. He's been living rent free in the publics mind for 30 years

When Em's first album blew up, there were a LOT of upset people. Eminem was accused of being homophobic, misogynistic, and of promoting violence to the point where he was getting blamed by politicians for Columbine, because the shooters were fans (Marilyn Manson got this treatment even worse, but Em also got mentioned in major speeches at the time). His response was this album, which is wilder and angrier than anyone could have imagined. This is the first song on that album.

Dre said he rarely knew what Em was gonna say, and that he was usually FLOORED by the insanity of it 😂😂

in the early 2000s they played Em on the radio constantly, like every other song he was requested. he got so popular from his radio hits that nobody realized until after buying one of the albums that he made songs like this hahaha

Really the only direct shot he took was at Howard Stern the 'radio show' he mentioned. Crowds of women and girls scream sing this at his concerts 😂 it's crazy. He is a funny guy.
