thats true the fact this was 96 is ridiculous there was only like a handful of rappers doing 5-10 multi-syllabic rhymes at this time and it was rare to even find those mc's rakim was the godfather of it

The other big thing to note is that Infinite was before Em was signed by Dre. This was before Slim Shady. Infinite was slept on, which is why he created Slim Shady because shock value sold

Not true. Slim Shady was an underground nickname he had, this was before his split personality Slim Shady was created but not before he was actually called Slim Shady. This also never sold well because he sounded like a rip-off NAS, which is why he changed going into the 2000s.

That the obv classics from our generation would be more intresting than the less reacted to tracks. They gotta get those essential em tracks in ND worm their way down. Either way tho I'm back is ill, to me Who knew is underrated to. He makes some Great socially conscious points in that song and breaks the slim character which was alot more rare back then

this is dude from the convention center. Em has some great songs, but i think this is my favorite Em song of all time. it's not his best lyrically, but it's my favorite. this song is nearly perfect from lyric to flow to production to overall delivery. my favorite part of the song is the "imitator, intimidator" run near the end of the 2nd verse

As much as ppl might disagree, i think Bugz killed Em in that song. It's highly unfortunate he was murdered before D12 became a group. Bugz woulda been great in D12. But by me actually being from Detroit, i feel like the song 313 is something for us local hip-hop heads to be proud of

Awesome work. Recommend Eminem "Book of Rhymes" - off his last album and he just cruises over an IllaDaProducer beat which features DJ Premier scratching on it.

Should really check out the video for Em and Rhianna "Monster", which is a really good visual representation of how Em's career has gone over the years, AND how the deeper that Em dives into his own mind he finds the bars that will unleash the "monster on the mic" that has elevated his career.

When I hear this track I feel like I'm rolling around the city, late 80 degree night with either the top down or sun roof open and the street lights shine into the car riding down the street
