The tissues I've 🤧 gone through since I discovered David Draiman and Disturbed on April 29, 2024. That day I have to believe my spirit 🙏 guides (out of the blue) first led me to a cover video by Dan Vasc singing "Amazing Grace" 👏 and then to the cover video of Disturbed and David Draiman singing this most POWERFUL, EMOTIONAL 😂rendition of Simon and Garfunkels "The Sound of Silence". I'm 75 and was 15 when they released this classic song of our time during the 60's. It is amazing how relevant it is today, actually I feel it is even more relevant than ever in so many different ways. I've spent days since listening and seeing the many channels and each of their reactions and 😢 almost every time. It's funny that more males have gotten teary-eyed than females, just an observation. Love Disturbed! I had goosebumps the first time I heard this when it came out. I would've loved to hear Chester cover this, after hearing him do Rolling in the Deep live... Chester and David were the best of their times... I'm 42 and grew up w/both.

After listening to the original by Simon and Garfunkel for approx 50 years, it was a shock (a good shock) when this version came out. Then Pentatonix had a different version! It's fascinating to listen to 3 different renditions that are all so good yet so different.

Good to see you again 👋🏼 I’m usually here for PTX. I really do not like metal, but this video led me to explore more of DISTURBED’s catalog, and I became a fan. But I like to say, if David is singing, I am listening. They were nominated for an Emmy from the Conan O’Brien performance. They did not win. They have been nominated 3 times for Grammys but never won. They were nominated this year for BAD MAN but did not win. 😡 stupid Grammys. They have a new video out right now with Ann Wilson from Heart. She is the first artist that they have ever had a collaboration with on one of their albums. It is an awesome power ballad DON’T TELL ME. 🤗💋🥰
