i may be wrong, i often am, but i do believe is is operatically trained (this is on of his way softer songs, he is heavy meatal all day, and to hear him sing like this brings new meaning to legend) i grew up listening to Disturbed, and lemme tell ya, this i one in a few that are "sung". his voice is so fire with the metal too though, so check it out haha

Every once in a while, the right person with the right vocal talent sings the right song whereby the result is stunningly outstanding. This is one of those songs. Great reaction!

I have now watched well over 100 reaction videos to this song. I live for that moment where the reviewer goes from the need to "Explain" things or other chatty comments to the moment of realization they have nothing to say, and instead need to just experience it in stunned silence. It is like I'm experiencing the song for the first time again.

Even though Disturbed is a hard rock/metal band that usually achieves their intensity using heavy volume, here they reached an intense level with quiet strength.

With a vocal performance like this, he has no need to flash the egg roll! This man's powerful vocal can bring a grown man to tears😢 great reaction.

I got the biggest kick out of watching you react! I went down the rabbit hole of Disturbed’s videos and concerts in 2020 as we were all shutting down with COVID. I saw this first and was hooked! I love their heavy metal performances as well as their ballads! David Draiman has an incredible voice. He was trained as a Jewish Cantor in his youth, which gives him that beautiful resonance in his voice. The others are gifted musicians. The band just released a new album last year. They just released an awesome official video of the Single from the album, Don’t Tell Me. Ann Wilson of Heart, the best female rock artist ever, duets with him!!! You cry for sure. It’s about the end of Draiman’s marriage last year. Checked the kind of artists you react to and really love the majority of the bands so I subscribed. Can’t wait to watch your reactions! You’re really original and fun!

His grandfather disowned him when he found out that David wanted to pursue music. First off, if I had recommended this cover or any cover of "The Sound of Silence" to you or any of these channels, I would have told you/them to first play the original video by Simon and Garfunkel. Paul Simon wrote this classic song in 1964 and I think their first video was released in 1965.

You have got to check out "The Light" by Disturbed. They have so many great songs.

You should check out them doing an original "A Reason to Fight" acoustic and see just how talented they are... When someone can sing that good unplugged you know they're 🔥

Heavy metal band absolutely reinvented this song by Simon and Garfunkel.

Do yourself a favor and listen to Down with the Sickness sometime which is a personal favorite. I have listened to them since they started and never knew he could sing something like this. As per the Mr. Clean look, well, sometimes too much hair can get in the way of other things. :-) I am slapping my own hand for that K.
