It's always fun watching youtubers react to this one. You didn't disappoint! Dimash is going to need the help of his fans on Friday (and every Friday) in order to help him retain the #1 position in requests that he gained for the first time on the March 12 MTV youtube channel Friday Livestream when he replaced the act that had been holding that position for over six months!. All it takes is tuning in live when the program airs in one's time zone (5-8 pm on Fridays, New York time) and typing REQUEST DIMASH (no extra text or emojis) as many times as possible in the chat during the three hours of the program. Our votes succeeded in helping Dimash replace the act that had held the #1 position for six months! He deserves to be at the top and we need to keep him there! It's Dimash's hopes and dreams to become as successful in the western world as he is in his own country. This is an important and easy way we can give back to him some of all that he has given to us! For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. Dimash set a record for the highest note ever sung in a live concert, during a live performance in 2017. It is his now-famous D8. He did this in front of approximately 150,000 fans in attendance. The song is called “Unforgettable Day”, a song Dimash wrote himself. During the performance, he made certain to erases any doubt that this was indeed anything other than a true live performance. Dimash not only hit a D8; he did a glissando and held it for ~5 seconds, even adding vibrato to it. The Guinness Book of Records lists the highest note ever produced by a male as an E8. That was done in a studio, where the singer was just trying to hit the note. He held the note briefly after a proper warm-up and several attempts. Dimash has sung many whistle notes in the 7th & 8th octave in other live performances, but the above is his highest note to date. Because of his incredible range, over six octaves, and his vocal flexibility, he is able to make the impossible look easy. Dimash is not only considered by many to be the best singer in the world, but he is truly on another level. His voice seems limitless, and no matter how many performances of his you watch he will always surprise you with something new. Dimash is also a genuinely good person with a beautiful soul. Dimash and his father quietly donated all the profits from the 2017 concert to a local Hospital and an Old Age People's Home. Our Dimash will be 27 this summer. He began his formal vocal education at 5 years of age. Their fireplace mantel is covered in awards he won as a little boy. Both parents have been popular singers in Kazakhstan for years. Dimash plays Dombra, the instrument of Kazakhstan, piano which he bagan at 3, drums, guitar and several other instruments. He has many degrees from his musical and classical music education as well as compositional education and degree.. He can sing any type of music. He is a deep thinker and has a marvelous sense of humor. He is very active in specific charities and it just goes on and on. He adores children. You already have mentioned his humility. He is one grade A human being, and an amazing example for so many. He believes that it is an insult to one's skill if one is not real or humble as a human being throughout their fame. His family is everything to him. They all live together as is tradition in their country. Grandparents, parents, brother, sister and any wives or husbands that may eventually come along. He will have to find a good Kazahk girl who will be able to accept what Dimash will expect of his wife. This includes staying with the family while he tours. I wish him all that his wondrous heart desires! Enjoy Dimash! He is addicting! LOL
