Thank you for the reaction! I like that you got lost in the sound for a bit. A popular one off of the same album is "Cantara". A more recent song of theirs (2012) which has a similar vibe as this one is "Opium".

Yeah I can't say I'm really a fan of their music. This track in general just always stuck with me. It's powerful, atmospheric, ethereal & even a little haunting.

This just tells me I'm not listening to this album enough. I must rectify that!!

despite having a great discography from the first to the last, I consider the peak of the duo both this album (Within the Realm of a Dying Sun) and the one that follows (Serpents Egg, my fav). nice reaction!

Love their music, but I sometimes have panic feelings like I forgot what day and time it is. Think 3 hours have past and it has only been 15 minutes.

Still they're best album in my opinion. Listen to it loud.

So far you seem to have only done songs where Brendan Perry leads. His are my favorites but the songs that Lisa Gerrard leads on have a different flavor. That was her vocals in the beginning.

I must say that the majority of DCD tracks that I prefer feature Lisa's voice.

I started balding in my 20s, am now in 40s, and I just shave my head because there's barely anything left.... So, now that I got that out of the way.... Is that really your hair? Or is it a hat? Like the reaction btw. I used to listen to this album a lot in my teens. Within The Realm Of A Dying Sun. I still have it. As CD.

@@JustJammin That's impressive. Must've taken years. I used to have long hair myself, again in my teens, but it was straight hair, so I imagine it can't have been nearly as much work as yours must be. Kinda prefer the low maintenance now. But it definitely looks cool, I give you that.
