Dan Vasc put his own spin on the song and made it more METAL. His interpretation of the song is unique and his powerful vocals have a strong impact on all listeners. I love being moved by his music.

Dan Vasc is from Brazil, he is classically trained and can sing from opera to heavy metal and everything in between. He has his own band Fearless, who have appeared in Dan's solo stuff.

This is one of my favorite Dan covers. And I am a 60 plus woman who's never ben into metal, but Dan has changed that for me. I am loving his screams and growls, his opera songs, never had liked opera before either. Dan is a top notch singer and performer who is from Brazil and still lives there. ❤❤

I have not. Outside of this channel, the only other songs I've listened to are Amazing Grace and The Star Spangled Banner. I'll continue to add my reactions to the Dan Vasc playlist, too

Has Dan tried to get on a record label in the past?

The KZreadrs, Savage Reactions, named what Dan does, David called it, " Dan Vascary", which I think is very Appropriate for what Dan does to his covers! Thank you for your Reaction, this is one of my Many faves of Dan's!

@@AceofBadeReacts The only place you'll be able to find that reaction is on Karla Bessa's channel. She likes to take Dan's videos and upload them there, because she can. He allows that. Usually, she alters them, and adds pictures that the finds all over INSTAGRAM, etc. I don't know for sure that she has altered "Sleeping Sun," but the others she has posted there, she has almost TOTALLY altered. I wouldn't trust anything on her channel. However, when it WAS on Dan's channel, it happens to have been the one cover he's posted there, that got taken down by a supposed copyright infringement, AFTER he had purchased his own right to use it, I understand.

Before being introduced to Dan Vasc, I hated metal and had a disdain in most rap. Dan's abilities and skill has given me a new appreciation for both. This is one of my most favorite metal songs by Dan. Love his vocal gymnastics.

I grew up on mostly rock and some metal. I really started broadening my horizons over the last few years and I'm glad that I did because there's so much out there to see. It's great that you have an appreciation for what else is out there, and yes he is phenomenal

Dan has the capacity of touching an original and make it a hundred light-years better. He’s Brazilian, so his first language isn’t English and it’s impressive how well he flows with the song without any problems in pronouncing words correctly at a high speed. He’s a real musical genius. Loved your reaction, though your friend seemed so indifferent to it.

Good job, sir, in telling the backstory! I've done that several times already, when telling people about it, and I've ALSO said that I LOVE that Dan left those parts in, because they are so effective for the way HE is telling the story (which is really the correct interpretation). He uses that part to show that there is a negative spiritual side to what was hurting Amy at the time she wrote the song. I have also said that he needs to collaborate with Amy. That would be superb, I think! Brazil...yes. (His native language is Brazilian Portuguese.) Dan posted (using his red mic as a visual representation of a weapon--grin) HIS 10/31/2023 song. Reactions are already abounding. I hope you will join those ranks (I haven't seen, yet, that you have, so...just in case). Thank you very much for this great reaction. 😀

Yeah somewhere along the 15 reactions I've done of Dan Vasc we learned about him living in Brazil and still being there

You've got to react to his metal versions of "Pokerface" and his metal duet with Violet Orlandi on "Kiss From a Rose." It's beautiful and both are better than the originals. Dan is phenomenal! Keep 'em coming! Yes, he's from Brazil and speaks Brazilian Portuguese. English is his second language and he speaks it beautifully. Also, if he does an outro, it's for a reason and you should always play those, too. Thanks for a great reaction! (Your audience would have enjoyed this outro and heard his accent.) 😊

A few weeks ago, Dan was on a podcast and said he had to stop all of his outros. I’m not completely sure of the reason, but I think it has something to do with his video sales. I’m really sorry he has to stop because I really enjoy hearing him talk about his videos.

@shirleyemrick1700 , me, too. It could be because the KZread algorithm includes how long viewers stay on the video. When we watch a video, we need to watch to the end, or it affects his income. So if people watch the music but not the outro each time, it messes with how much he makes on them. If we leave a comment, it helps. But in the ones he used to do, I always watch the outro to help him out, even if I have it memorized. 😅

@@joettamcqueen1954 I believe that is accurate. The longer people watch, the more ads they run into and the more $$ the creator is able to make off that. Of course KZread took how many ads can be placed on a video out of the creator's hands from what I heard. And comments "help the algorhythm" or something like that. My guess is the more variety of comments = the more KZread pushes the video out to people
