And her brother is a very well known composer for many K-pop singers. Suhyun and her brother singing together as a group are AKMU. She is greatly appreciated in Korea as a great singer. They were phenomenal covering Rewrite The Stars and I really hope the original singers, Zac Efron and Zendaya have seen this cover! As a 5 month baby EXO-L thanks to Kai's Rover song, it was EXO's live, power, vocal, line...Chen, Baekhyun and especially for me D.O. that made me pay attention! D.O.'s low tone, RnB, riffs, runs, adlibs, soulful vibe, perfect diction/ pronunciation of English and Spanish songs, even his speaking voice is so calming. His voice whether singing or speaking is like warm, chocolate, honey to my ears. EXO's holy trinity, Chen, Baekhyun, D.O.'s live performance of "Miracles In December" is iconic. And Baekhyun and D.O.'s live debut showcase stage performance of "What Is Love" blew me away! I was like who are these guys who just debuted and singing live like THAT! I've never heard live vocals like this in K-pop ever! But it was D.O.'s live stage of "Tell Me What Is Love" that crowned him the King of RnB, soul in K-pop! For me his live ballad in Japan while Chanyeol plays piano of the English version of "For Life" will always be THEE wedding song of all time! It's unhealthy the amount of EXO content I've been consuming these past few months! There's soooo much content to catch up on, like 11 years plus! It's been so refreshing and satisfying to finally hear a live, power, soulful, group in K-pop. This is why I like groups like MAMAMOO, Monsta X and EXO, I gravitate to live, soulful, power, vocalists. Looks and dancing ability doesn't really matter to me.

The brother and sister were on Take One on Netflix. They were amazing and inventive. The rest of this episode with DO had several great songs.

AKMU (Akdong Musician) is a duo from YG Entertainment (the same agency where BlackPink at), they are siblings, the (older) brother name is Lee Chan Hyuk and the (younger) sister is Lee Su Hyun.. They join YG after they won SBS's K-Pop Star: 2 in 2014. 2014-2015 really YG golden era (IMO), cause start with Lee Hi debut in 2013, AKMU and Winner debut in 2014, Bigbang's comeback and iKON debut in 2015, but so sad with the news of 2NE1, and after that i took hiatus from K-Pop world, just following news of EXO new MVs and singles until Lay couldn't join in the Kokobop era 😢.
