I'm a music historian and everything is an evolution of music. Having the old to the new even if us old heads don't like it is evolution. Everything repeats but with a different version but all still have the same roots.

Coast is always ALWAYS Dope! I had the same reaction when i first heard them as would any real, true hip hop fan. Go back and listen to their "Never" freestyle which is what made them go viral. These guys are different. It's like a 90's group like Wu Tang has been teleported to present day.
