Hello... Just wanna say this song is based on what happened to Suga in real life ..his car accident, his depression, his parents illness.. he struggled so much in the past but thankfully he didn't give up and choose to be strong. The way all of this is so personal to him and chooses to share it with us.. the strongest person ever

That’s true and I feel so so bad for suga🥺

the Amygdala is involved in fearful memories and emotions. so Suga/Agust D is going through/reliving them. He was almost killed when he had a delivery route to make money early in the BTS journey, he woke up and saw a tire in front of his head. His mother had heart surgery. His dad had a liver cancer diagnosis. When his parents went to therapy with him they found out he'd tried to harm himself, and they'd had no idea. Those kinds of memories are hard.

I agree, it’s traumatizing

Hi Gotta, to understand this video, it's his pain from the past, he had depression, a secret part-time delivery job driving a motorbike to earn money which resulted in an accident (just as the video), with a crushed shoulder, and he couldn't tell anyone (even the members), for fear of being eliminated from BTS. Years of suffering in pain, he endured the best he could and finally told the members and Big Hit (Company Label). Which resulted to have his shoulder medically addressed and shoulder surgery was done in 2020.

❣️Agust’D or even as Suga, Yoongi confronted himself, inner thoughts and feelings, since the very beginning. If you listen or rather read lyrics to songs like Nevermind, or Tomorrow, some part of writing was even pre-debut, and especially songs like The Last from his first mixtape Agust’D. Also So Far Away. Also in his song as Suga First Love he mentions the scooter accident where he injured his shoulder. I suggest you listen or if you have relisten to this as well as other of his songs. But he’s always confronting himself. Many not only same themes being repeated but even same lyrics, Since the first mixtape Agust’D was the first time he really went even deeper, talking about many things that is actually forbidden to in Korean society at least in past, let alone thought or attempting suicide, he put it all out there, back then, even literally breaking down in tears while recording. Don’t know if this is end of Agust’D, but end of being haunted by his past and questioning himself about staying on right paths avoiding possible corruption that at times comes with success. But I believe Agust’D will always be needed because Yoongi even said himself way back, somebody needs to speak up about injustices in the world!
