Sonu Nigam - The last voice I wish to hear before I die. One of the greatest vocalists of the planet.

There are many good male singers in India but Sonu is all in one package - buttery smooth voice, broad vocal range, key (sur) control etc. He just sings effortlessly.

As an Indian who can understand the meaning, depth and feel the lyrics, I can vouch this is one of the hardest songs in the modern era and Sonu Nigam killed it...a living legend!

At the pinnacle of his career, Sonu fought against the monopoly of Music companies, fought for artists' rights, sought pension to retired elder artists amd thus made all these biggies his enemy. They even boycotted him, esp. T series and Zee music. Learn about his great fight. The last time who fought for royalties was Lata ji in 1960-70s.

Sonu Nigam! ❤ He’s a legend! An institution in himself!

He is my favourite singer. When he sings, you can feel the emotions of the song. Straight from heart. He started as an achor to singing talent show and later became playback singer. Of course he is not Arijit Singh, he is SONU NIGAM! He sings in various languages but when he sings no one can tell that he is not from that region. He sounds like a local guy with perfect accent .

This is NOT Arijit Singh 😄. This is legendary SONU NIGAM, one of the finest male singers of India. An institution in himself.

No,his first album was not deewana. Deewana came very late.His very first album was 'Rafi ki yaadein' in 1992. But ya,deewana is his one of the best album without a single doubt.

Sonu Nigam is one of the best legend in music industry .. a rare versatile singer with enormous talent as well as knowledge and successful in industry as well… really respectful singer..

This performance of him always brings tears to my eyes. And look at his face when he sings, there's 0 stress even at the highest notes you can see him hitting. Most singers would find it incredibly hard to even reach those nodes. He's an absolute God that's descended to this earth to sing. I love him a lot.
