This era of hip hop was just amazing and this album is an absolute classic.
I loved Arrested Development. Their song Everyday people was my favorite but how can you not love Mr. Wendal

I honestly know you to would absolutely love this song it's called " whenever you come around" by Vince Gill and he has the voice of an angel just listen to his official music video I absolutely love his voice when he was younger and so would you guys
This entire album was the shit!! So good, you should definitely listen to more of their songs! Tennessee was their biggest hit, but so many other good ones on this album🎵 🎶❤️🔥

Oooef! I LOVE those songs! SO good!!! 😍😍
Closest I’ve heard to what you might call “Hippie Hip-hop.” Digable Planets and De La Soul were kinda trippy but AD really had that communal ethic and a vision of positivity in the vein of Michael Franti and Spearhead. This got super overplayed and I think a lot of casual folks just sorta dug it as a little personal virtue signaling (like they’d ever really consider changing their approach to homeless folks), but it’s catchy AF and Speach just has such a neat cadence with his lines and of course a super real message.
Mr. Wendal and Tennessee pop up on my different playlists quite a bit. Arrested Development was fabulous, and they were deep. They make you think.
I used to have to travel 10 hrs on a coach to see my mum as a kid in the holidays and back then all i had was a cassette player for entertainment.I once bought this album for the journey as it passed the time to sometimes get a new album, absolutely loved it.Even butchered this song on karaoke after a few beers :) 'People Everyday' would be a worthy next
I was a young soldier stationed in Germany when this came out: it hit hard in the military clubs!! Thanks for bringing back a great song and great memories!!

Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪😊 I love this song, A D and of course the Album👌👌👌
BJ check out the song "Tennessee " it haunts me when they show the lynching. Asia, u lookin fine as always! No disrespect BJ
Are ya'll planning to possibly do a tribute to the great Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac who passed away 2 days ago at age 79? She was one of the main singer/songwriters of Fleetwood Mac.

Hopefully 🤞🤞
The song was written about the plight of the homeless and encourages people not to ignore them just because of their status or how they look, but instead to learn from their non-materialistic lifestyles.
Another banger from my middle school years. These guys always gave me a de la soul vibe.
I love this group. I still know every word. Saw them in a very tiny venue right as this song came out.
I was about 14 when this album came out... I loved it SO much.

Wife here..., Asia and BJ..., While in high school.., I Loved This song.., It OPENED my mind..,BJ you analyzed this perfectly!!!
Forgot about this song! A great one! Arrested Development was way under rated!
Wow, I haven't heard this song in years. I remember buying the tape of this when I was a kid.
Arrested Development is one of the best music groups of all time. With great flow, positive lyrics and love for all of our brothers and sisters pouring out through their music.
This song reminds me of one of the best summers of my teen years......swimming at the gravel pit, 40's and 64 Oz bottles of Old English 800, windows down stereo up...this song hit that summer.
Arrested Development was one of y favorite groups when I was in middle school. I still have this CD.
I was today years old when i saw the lyrics,i listened to this song all the time when i was younger..now it makes sense...
"Miracles","Sunshine","Since the Last Time","People Everyday" & "Tennessee" all by Arrested Development
One of the groups I gravitated to growing up. Great beats, vocals, and message.
Tenesse was their best track. Their first album was something like I had never heard before. A classic
Your videos spread joy, peace and love. That's what the world needs more of! Keep creating and sharing.
Yeah Mr.Wendal Listen to Tennessee or people everyday !
The ENTIRE Album is Brilliant! #90sGold
Tennessee was in the top 10 for ages when I was growing up - love it
I had graduated from High School when this came out. Went to college for a year, came out and never went back - confused just like the song said, lol. Got a gig at a book store for a few years and met this homeless man, a black artist who did wire sculptures. I would remember this song and make sure to get him lunch everyday until I moved after getting a tech job. So much artistic knowledge, I loved talking to him. All of their music was great - really made you think of humanity and what it means to be human in society today. Not much has changed, sadly.
Appreciate yall guys for pulling out this epic group of it's time and doing this. ❤
Perspective is very important in life. Mr Wendel has lived life from we can only think of multiple perspectives. At the moment he is humble, has he always been that way? Or has he been enriched enough through different stages in his life to finally value life simply. Has he made mistakes to give knowledge to others on how life might turn out for them. The viewpoint of the person singing about him is a man who is kind and feels that he can provide some of his time and his money listening to him. Never judge a book by its cover. The most valuable lessons in life are learned from reading the pages in between.
Check out 'Tennessee' as well :)
I was just listening to this the other day. I was going to see if you had listened to this yet. This song has such an important message. When I was out of state for college right after high school, some of the coolest people I met were homeless. I used to hook up the 2 near my apartment with food all the time from my job. They paid me back by beating up a dude who was following me from the bus stop. There was another guy who bummed smokes off us. Since my bestie and me hooked him up every day, he'd always pay us back at the end of the week. Just got to treat people like people.
OH MY GOD THANK YOU FOR FINDING THIS AMAZING SONG!!!!!!! This is my teens right here. The song is powerful, and so much meaning. And another fantastic reaction.
Love-loved Arrested Development back in the 90's and love 'em until this day! So excited you guys found them. I agree with other suggesting to check out "Everyday People" by them next... while it's a cover (originally by The Ikettes) it's nonetheless a great banger. You'll love!
Unique era of gansta rap and more logical songs. I loved both.
A very underrated group!
All the best from Ireland 🇮🇪 one of our favorite songs about life.
I was a kid when this came out...maybe 11yo or so....We'd sing it on the playground at school....We all thought it was Mr. Window....haha
This song kind of has the same idea of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "The Ballad of Curtis Loew". Two great songs!
Wow. Haven’t heard this song in a long time. Thanks for reminding me of this great jam. ✌️
Wow, what a beautiful song, god bless you Mr Wendel.
Ya'll missed a perfect opportunity to say so much more about the lyrics of Mr. Wendal. It's definitely one of the greatest rap songs ever written and performed.
the message is as relevant today as it was back when this was first released.. no one cares or see's homeless people they would rather ignore them than to actually stop and get to know them and help.
Brilliant, not heard this in years!
Ya never know the story behind how a homeless person became that way. There are a zillion ways for it to happen & often those folks have lived very interesting lives & are full of knowledge. This was released in 1992.
Tennessee is an awesome song too! Love this group! 🥰
If rap had held on to some of this style, I would be a lot bigger hip hop fan. Loved the early stuff.
I had this album when it first came out on cassette tape. They are such a vibe.
I love this song soo much!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Love this song
Aaah! I was 14 when this came out…I had started to find my own music and explore what I loved…this was a real coming of age song for me! Nostalgic to say the least! ❤ PS. You should give a listen to De la soul - “All Good”
I remember this. It’s my favourite song from them
This was the jam back in the day.
Tennessee ALSO. Living in Rome Georgia when this came out
Everyday People was a massive hit in the UK, but this one always hit the spot for me. Great song.
BRING BACK ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT!!! 🙂
I remember this song and the entire album. Great music.
Fantastically smooth and real… mic drop
Go Ahead, Mr. Wendal....
Loved this song when it came out. Still a great jam.
I have been waiting for an Arrested Development reaction! Would love to see Tennessee or Everyday People
I LoVe Arrested Development! Fun trip down memory lane 💕
As above this was a time when hip hop had soul and love as its message, not popping a cap in someone's ass.x Lots love from Manchester UK.
Whole album was great. People Everyday, and Tennessee are 2 of my other favorites.
What's up guys great reaction! Old school hip hop At it's best.. Reminds me of my college days lol!
That entire album is a BANGER!
I am still stunned by how awesome you both looked for Monster Mash. Asia is a very beautiful lady.
They had such a great sound! As a kid (like 8) their message and the things they wrote about were outweighed by the feeling the song gave me, but as an adult they were really ahead of their time
She has such a pretty smile
Love love love arrested development 💜🔥 got to hear "Tennessee" and "people everyday" now! This is an excellent old school song about homeless people. Bette Midler has a cover song called, "hello in there" that was written by John prine. It's about another group of people that get overlooked or disregarded. I hope you'll check it out someday.👍 Love you two 💞
Omg memories…..❤️
Loving that you guys can go from Metallica to Arrested Development - I never let social norms decide what I listen to and feed my soul with. It's all relevant - great stuff. Stay human!

Next you should do Arrested development - Tennessee
Love them
This takes me back..
Their 'Tennessee' is very good.
Your next dive in to them should be Tennessee!
The Corrs. Noone ever reacts to the Corrs..
Hey Asia, BJ. Your next movie review should be Shot Caller (2017). It's pretty hardcore and not for the faint of heart, but has great actors and a compelling story.
Love that Selena shirt!
I performed this in my 5th grade talent show. Let me say that it was less than impressive and didn't take home the victory. Ha, what a little dork I was. 1993 I believe it was
First time requesting a song “Loneliness “ studio version by Grand Funk Railroad, every time I listen to you guys you make my day -love you guys and thank you for all you do-Lee

Why not something different? From the internationally successful Series "Babylon Berlin", back to the 1920s in Germany. Two also internationally very popular songs of the series. Meret Becker & Meute - Ein Tag wie Gold (A Day Like Gold), and Severija - Zu Asche, zu Staub (From Ashes to Dust). kzread.info/dash/bejne/qKaew8Zmm5DLldI.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/p5mfvNKkicmdXag.html

i like (y) Gwen Guthrie - Ain't Nothin' Goin' On But The Rent can you react to this music
Asia has a bunch of "thinks" about how she ain't married to no bum. 😁 Love you Asia. Girl, I do that too, when your brain isn't as fast as your mouth and what you want to say doesn't come out. 🙂
