Angelina did 4 versions of this song. This one we call singing in cursive... she did a studio version, and a home movie version where her sister plays a younger version of her and her uncle (and manager) plays her recently passed grandpa, grandpa's pictures or in the hallway and the sweater and his shoes were actually his..... there is a concert version she did that the tempo is slowed way down also... my personal favorite is the home movie version

I believe Angelina experiences a similar feeling to what she wrote in her book "Mellom to hjerter" ("Between Two Hearts"), about the shoeless girl who she gave her shoes to, when she thinks about her grandpa, and hence the ladder to the heavens in the lyric video: "It was like there were stairs from the earth to the heavens. And I climb the stairs...."I stand between the heavens and the earth I stand between two hearts.” The video and Angelina and Grandma Mery’s artwork are a stroke of pure genius. Unlike many lyric videos it really expresses Angelina’s feelings, and enhances the viewer’s experience with this emotionally beautiful song.

Quite the voice, Angelina always wakes up my emotions and makes me smile ;;; a very nice way to start my day! When Angelina (from Oslo) was 6 years old, she met a homeless girl around her age in Iran. (Her grandmother is Iranian artist Mery Zamani.) The girl did not have any shoes, and Angelina says her feet were scarred. Angelina gave the girl her own shoes. Not only does Angelina honor the young homeless girl she met by performing barefoot, but she also wrote a book about the experience. It’s called Mellom to jherter (“Between two hearts”), and was published in 2015, when Angelina was only 9 years old. According to her website, Angelina then “vowed never to appear on stage again wearing shoes until all the world’s children had them.” She keeps that promise to this day, as she says that little girl “is always in my heart.” She arranges all of her own music.

Thank you for your deep reaction. i think that this song worthy of being compared to The Little Prince of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The presentation of Saint-Exupéry's work on Wikipedia says: The story follows a young prince who visits various planets in space, including Earth, and addresses themes of loneliness, friendship, love, and loss. Despite its style as a children's book, The Little Prince makes observations about life and human nature. This song "Million Miles fly to the Moon of the little Princess" also meets this definition (sorry for the modification of the title and a reference to a classic of Angelina). Upon encountering the narrator, the little prince asks him to draw a sheep. After three failed attempts at drawing a sheep, the frustrated narrator simply draws a box, claiming that the sheep the prince wants is inside the box. Again, to the narrator's surprise, the prince exclaims that this was exactly the drawing he wanted. The poetic narration, lyrics, images and subtle music, this voice with a deep soul, draw not a sheep, but a heart which is a jewel box containing a bubble of humanity. for all of you and specialy for Angelina, not alone you are.

My grandma who passed way when i was 12 was like a mother to me she was there for me when no one was she was the only person to know the real me and understand me i fell into a deep depression after she passed it was to the point i stopped eating and talking i never said a single word for 3 years and during that time of me struggling to heal i started hearing voices repeatingly telling me ways to take my own life and ive attempted multiple times in the past and my mom was so scared she was about to take me to a hospital for the mental ill cause she was so scared if commit suicide and after i got deeper into my years of thoughts i asked myself if my grandma would be happy if i took my life to be with her again and i realized shed want me to live life as long as i can to see the beauty and the bad of this world shed want me to experience life to the fullest but the lyrics "were a million miles apart its pulling my heart " and "i think what hes given me the smiles and the memories " i connected to so much i actually got on my knees and cried an ocean this entire song is my feelings to the fullest everytime i think of here my heart aches and i sometimes look at the blue sky hoping we dont have to be separated anymore i wish i can see her even for just a second to say i love you i never got to say goodbye before she passed

When she was very young she was singing on stage and she noticed another child watching her and she saw that she had no shoes. She then took her shoes off and gave her the shoes to wear, she always sings barefoot to honor the memory of that little girl! She's such a humble and caring person!

You've got the story slightly wrong. Angelina met her in a street, not while singing on a stage. From an interview in a norwegian newspaper when she released her book: "We stopped in front of a little girl who was about my age. It was quite cold, and she was sitting there, without shoes. She had a weight with her, and tried to make some money by weighing people who passed by. I stayed, and we talked a little. We were very similar, and since then she has always been in my heart. She was sitting on the street and was barefoot, and it was cold. So I gave her my green lined shoes, which I really liked. But my mom carried me home. When I perform, I think of her, which is why I always stand barefoot on stage. " The girl had lost her mother and brother. Angelina was six years at that time, so it was before Norway Got Talent.

Jamanese the answer to your question is i dont know where our BAREFOOTPRINCESS was but she actually gave her shoes to a homeless girl that was bare foot weighing people on a set of bathroom scales on the side of the road for coppers for food and Angelina said why there was people that didn`t have shoes she would do all performances barefoot
