Thanks for doing some ABBA. One of my favorite groups. A great rabbit hole to go down. They have sold over 400 million records. Only the Beatles have sold more! They were massive in the 70s and early 80s. The group consisted of 2 married couples. Agnetha the blonde and her husband Bjorn the guitarist. And Ani-Frid aka Frida or Annie the Auburn haired one and her husband Benny the pianist. Frida and Agnetha both had incredible voices and took turns on lead vocals and their harmonies are like no others and often called the groups 3rd voice. The guys wrote all their songs and could play almost any instrument. You must try their massive hit Dancing Queen. Remember this is before stupid auto tune which has destroyed music. Either you could sing or you couldn't. Thanks and take care.

Extra props for reacting to a performance video even though some of the official videos are pretty good. Think you would like some of their other hits more such as "The winner takes it all," "Dancing Queen," "gimme, gimme, gimme" etc,

These is ABBA, the iconic Swedish pop quartet, the best, most versatile and most important of the 70s, in the post BEATLES decade (the revolutionary group of the 60s) ABBA, as in its time BEATLES, was a musical and cultural phenomenon, and its legacy lives on ABBA is the biggest musical act in the history of both continental Europe and the non-English speaking world They are the first non-English speaking group to have considerable success in major English-speaking countries And is the first group to break with the hegemony of NorthAmerican, English and Australian artists in the music market dominated by British culture. ABBA is an acronim with the initials of their first names; initialy was two swedish couples too: A- Agnetha (blonde lead vocal) & B- Björn (guitarist and songwriter) B- Benny (pianist and songwriter) & A- Anni Frid (brunette lead vocal) (both couples separated before the breakup of the group in 1982) ABBA recording between 1972/1982, have a wonderful series of more than 20 worldwide hits, included nine singles #1 in UK: Waterloo Mamma Mia Fernando Dancing Queen Knowing me knowing you The name of the game Take a chance on me The winner takes it all Super trouper And after more than 35 years ABBA return to studio in 2017 and recording a full new album "Voyage" between 2017/2021 released in November 2021 and is a worldwide succes And in last May 2022 all four ABBA members asist to the premiere of the new Voyage concerts (with avatars of Theirself) in the new ABBA Arena at London UK (another greatest success,, with tickets on sale to November 2023) The ages of all ABBA members now is 73 Agnetha Fältskog ; 76 Benny Andersson 78 Björn Ulvaeus ; 77 Anni Frid (Frida) Lyngstad I hope to see more reactions to ABBA GOD bless you my best regards from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 South America

1975... a year after they had won the Eurovision Songcontest with the song "Waterloo".

these is my favourite ABBA song of all times, 'The Masterpiece' for excellence between more ABBA masterpieces "S.O.S." (1975) has a story It was one of Their first recordings after the greatest success of "Waterloo" in Eurovisión, just four months later, in August 1974 But it waited almost a year for its release, in June 1975 at Sweden, September 1975 at UK and US (the next singles after Waterloo was, in these order: Ring Ring (re-entry), So long (at 1974), and "I do I do I do I do I do", and finally "S.O.S." when " "S.O.S." have your chance to be a single, it picks at #6 in U.K. and #15 in U.S. being Their second hit in both countries at the same time, and six #1 (including Germany Australia) and more Top 10 in several countries of all continents and after these, ABBA had 18 Top 10 consecutives in UK between 1975/1982, for example: Mamma Mía, Fernando, Dancing Queen, Take a chance con me, Chiquitita, The winner takes it all, Super trouper etc "S.O.S." in less than 200 seconds is a gem, a Masterpiece! The transitions from the dramatic opening (a dingy piano and a cracking voice of the blonde singerAgnetha) to a powerful rock beat with catchy pop chorus in the middle are brilliant ABBA marked an era in many ways One was the musical leadership of its beautiful and lofty female vocalists as the center of attention Another was the use of contrasts, such as sad lyrics with catchy melodies and harmonies And their recording tecnique "wall of sound" gives ABBA more powerfull ABBA, as in its time BEATLES, left an unforgettable mark on several generations It is good music that lasts and stays alive and well Thank you very much for your reaction; I hope to see you soon in next ABBA songs My next suggestion Is "Fernando" (1976) with the brunette singer Frida in lead voice My best regards to You from Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷 South América

Do you do anything else on a daily basis Eduardo or do you spend every waking minute writing essays on every single ABBA reaction video on KZread? Why do you think people who don't know you need long winded information on what you like? Why would you think people need to see your information on ABBA when they are more than capable of visiting ABBA's official sites and seeing that information from the actual source?

Imagine these amazing singers unable to speak English...that's 😧 crazy!! They knew that if they didn't quick they wouldn't be able to sing for the English speaking audience, which we know and they definitely knew that the masses of the world spoke the English language!! They are amazing and wanted fame and wanted all people to love their singing, and enjoy their talent and what they could bring to everyone 😀😀🎶🎶🎶😍😍😍 love y'all's reactions!! What's up Baby ♥️

@@Vikinggirl1679 Yes they could speak English just like the majority of Swedes. Just look at their interviews even early ones. Never really noticed they had an accent when they were singing but when speaking, yes there was, particularly Frida.

@@Vikinggirl1679 As I said they all learned English at school. Never heard anyone of them say they learned English so that they could sing in English. Even Agnetha who is often said to be the weakest at English got good grades in English at school aged 15. I think she was just nervous speaking English even though she was quite good really.
