I think its the ear worm element i find that all of these get stuck in my head and makes me wanna listen more
It has that many views because like you said, he look like he's about to rob someone ( being stereotypical lol ) but he got famous from "on the block" videos. Basically its a KZread channel that goes to your neighborhood, set up a mic, and you and your friends rap or sing your song live. Everyone thought he was gonna rap so it went viral
