    Unfortunately in today's world, it is a sign of weakness when men show vulnerability. I had to tell a girl I've had a long history with that she needed to stand by her husband no matter what because she perceived weakness when he became stressed and vulnerable and showed a sign of weakness. I told her, be his ride or die. You'll give him strength just by comforting him and telling him you got his back. Words have power. Gives men strength.

    This is true. I was dumbfounded when my friend left her man and I said “I thought you two were perfect together” and she said “Omg he was super emotional last week and idk if I can look at him the same anymore” So men really do open up but when their feelings aren’t taken seriously, that’s when they turn cold and bottle everything and it’s heartbreaking.

    To further illustrate this, here in Australia I was a victim of domestic violence as a man and there are not hotlines, no shelters, no support and on the only line for men is actually for abusers to get help. You know what there is though? Shelters for women, children, dogs, cats, horses, mice - there is even an aquarium in my state for goldfish to make sure violent partners dont kill them. But nothing for men, we are lower than goldfish on things that matter.

They are NOT asking to cry😭 in front of you - you will lose respect for him (look it up in psychology research). MEN MAKE THE WORLD 🗺GO ROUND and we should love them for it!!!

    This is so true. I saw it with my dad. My first step mom never gave him respect and peace and rarely showed gratitude. I could see it slowly wear him down. His health deteriorated. At one point he was only 120 pounds when he's six feet tall because of all the stress destroying his appetite for so long. Thankfully he left her before permanent damage could happen. My current step mom is an absolute angel and I am so grateful. He is doing amazing and hope I have that kind of relationship in the future

    It's not really society that teaches us to be this way, but the women in our lives that dismiss and often mock our thoughts and feelings. Only showing love and gratitude when we provide, that's the the price we have to pay, "Unconditional love is for women, children and dogs".

    The most powerful part of this song for me as a man is, they don’t know what their worth until the die, then that’s when they start crying. Then move on to a man to confide in. So so true. We as men work our asses off to not be cared about and build this life for our woman that we struggled so hard for her to just move right on over to another man. Think about that!

    I've raised my son (17) to always be kind, try to help people, be a peacemaker and be respectful. I've taught him that there is nothing wrong with the healthy expression of emotions. "Son, repressing your emotions doesn't make you tough, it just makes you emotionally repressed." It has caused some strange and funny social situations for him with girls. It's like he doesn't chase the popular girls because he's not into social hierarchy drama, but sometimes they are drawn to him because he gets along well with the guys who DO chase them. But when they can't drag him into any of their BS, they lose interest and dump him. And he just shrugs it off like he would an accidental contact in sparring. The emotional environment for men today is like a societally inflicted gas chamber that smothers potential rather than raising it as many claim. It's really sad.

    We are the men of this world. Not in just the USA the whole world as the comments in this song shows. And yes we are the providers and pillars of our families. It's written in history, biblical, and legends. However the part that has gotten lost is the family aspect. The simple phrase of behind every great man is his greatest treasure, his woman. That's what has gotten lost, that's what's been forgotten. The ideology of 1 for 1 is the evil that has destroyed all good thing. Stones thrown b 4 words, hurt before help. We men do not look down on our wives they are our best partner. Unfortunately that don't apply to all males. I don't know a solution to the problem as a whole but I can say their is hope. My woman played me this song. And told me she loved me in a tone I haven't heard in a very very long time. Maybe 7 or 8 years. Raised 10 kids together mine, hers, and a couple of bonus blessings. Now it's the grands as some haven't taken the best paths. Men need to look to men, for or brothers shoulders are strong enough to hold us up. We all regardless of race or nationality need to stand together to be the support for each other until we get the parallel of the family dynamic back. We can help each other with that. Broken homes bad choices drugs all the bad that has destroyed us can be repaired. Let us not forget the fact we must not forget our own mistakes or we shall not learn from them. Let us not repair or own spirit and forget that we are responsible the fallen and weak standing right next to us. Men I call to you to be the man you can be. Stop the nonsense and regain our pride, along with our humility. No ego need to look a certain way. The right women will come and we must build together as a family. As a community we are stronger. I've repeated this song now over and over. Their needs to be a part 2. And if anyone can say it, it just might be Dax. Hell never see this but maybe a few of my fellow men will, and we will think about our lives and our families lives. I dream of unity and peace for all. I'm not a religious man but am a man of hope and honor. And with both of those I hope we can unite with each other and build back our families. With the love that has been written about for centuries. I mean come on even fairy-tale stories couldn't of been written without some basis of life to go off of. Real life isn't a fairy-tale, but maybe just maybe it don't have to hurt as much as it dose. Own Our Strengths.

    It's women who look at you different after you show ur emotions not other men. The boys are the only ones we can confide in.

    People like to say it society that teaches men that they have to be the providers. It's in society because it's in men already. It's ground into our DNA. There is nothing more satisfying than being able to provide for a family, and being loved, and appreciated for it. There has been a push to change who men are, and I don't think it's a coincidence male suicide rates correspond with that push. The traditional family unit isn't something that can be changed, or discarded without huge negative impact on society as a whole.

    Great kind feminine reaction to this powerful song by DAX. A great independent artist from the Uk 🇬🇧 is REN he has a very wide variety of songs stories related to his struggles with Lyme’s disease hospitalized for 10 years Songs like “Hi Ren” a tribute to mental health “Chalk Outlines” comment on too many pills 💊 “For Joe” a tribute to the passing of his childhood friend Joe “Tale of Jenny and Screech” a trilogy of stories commenting on family breakdowns. Ren is a self taught guitarist while he was in hospital also self taught on the piano. He writes all his own beats and the content speaks about society in a raw unfiltered way as he isn’t signed to a record label

    So I've been meaning to do this for a while. This is my verse to dax song what it's like to be a man so here it is. I hope you enjoy Dax hook I can't hide myself I don't expect you to understand I just hope I can explain What it's like to be a man It's a lonely road And they don't care 'bout what you know It's not 'bout how you feel But what you provide inside that home My verse As a single full time father of 3 / 2 boys and a girl one autistic one with adhd/ Taking care of everything on my own trying to build a dream/ No one to to turn to when we face all of life's adversities / There's no movement for men were told to just keep moving/ Theirs no outlet from the pain no way to sooth it/ We just have to bottle the feeling and live an illusion/ We have to be our own savior somehow having to find a way to just do it / Our only value is how much we can provide / Having to stay strong to the world while at night we cry threw our eyes/ Knowing no one would care even if they saw threw us acting as If everything's alright / And if he says he's alright just know it's a lie / Cuz men know deep inside no one cares if we confide / About how we feel until we feel dead inside/ It's the unspoken truth that simple goes undressed / It's the cold hard truth we simply don't confess / I know this verse won't change a thing I just had to get it off of my chest/ Dax hook I can't hide myself I don't expect you to understand I just hope I can explain What it's like to be a man It's a lonely road And they don't care 'bout what you know It's not 'bout how you feel But what you provide inside that home

    Blue collar working men have it the toughest. That's why he showed mostly those men. See, the men who live on top of the world dont face most of the garbage the average man has to go through. Those wealthy lazy for the most part men have plenty of options when it comes to women and life in general. This song is dedicated to all men but mainly the ones who are working class and dont have many options.

    Any women that watch this video should really be taken back by the fact that when men watch this video the men are about to cry. Women really don’t understand what men go through at all, and seem to be fairly oblivious to Dax’s message here, about how men only seemed to be loved based on their ability to provide. Many women divorce their husband after he looses his job, another sign that women marry for money, not love and that the men don’t get the love they expected from their wife.

  • @Sjmryu
    @Sjmryu8 күн бұрын

    I expect every woman that hears this song will not understand the message in the song itself. Women wont understand what men go thru even when we tell them point blank.
