When I heard this song in my teenage years I didn’t understand the underlying message he was saying, due to my age. I went on the beat only and his rap skills. When I grew older I understand the underlying message, it’s iconic. Back in the day this was normal if I’m honest😂. Nobody was whining about it like they do now😅

I watched like 3 of your videos, and was like, "She is going to love Pac" The amazing sample is from Dennis Edwards "Dont Look Any Further". One of my favorite things about rap is diacovering old music through the samples. This is still one of the hardest disses ever. Pac didnt come with the punchlines, but the personals were EXTRA PERSONAL and mostly true, as far as I know. He is 100% talking about Faith Evans. Not to mention Pac's hostile ass flow.

Yeah, a lot of people say he was wrong for saying the "sickle cell" and "my 4 4 make sure all yo kids don't grow" lines, that he was taking it too far. I ain't sayin' it's cool to say that or nothing, but folks got to realize, this dis track was written right after he recovered from being shot, the 5 bullets he was referring to on this track, and he thought Biggie and Bad Boy were who ordered the hit! They weren't, but think of the mind set 2Pac be in when writing a dis track against someone he truly thought just tried to snuff out his life for real. I don't condone it, but I understand why he went there, ya know? ✌️💚
