    *Snoop* has always had a laid-back flow but you are correct they're not together *Tupac* was a hard worker & would lay down versus all the time & then producers would put it all together He didn't do what then was normal producing a song together because that was a longer process whereas a producer could put it together when he's not there so when he was there he was focused on laying down tracks. Today people aren't even in the studio let alone the same studio at the same time. That's how they were able to produce so many post-mortem albums

    PAC fans don’t just like him , we loved this man and hung on every word . This man’s emotion poured out on tracks , made me cry , rage , smile feel whatever emotion the track was triggering in you . The depth of of Tupac was his true art . I don’t care that NY felt biggie was king , cuz Tupac made you feel , you listened when he spoke and you felt it . The goat 🐐 forever missed by his family anyone who knew him and his true fans. God bless the dead

    They actually recorded together in the studio at first but then Snoop wasn't okay with going out with a one take on the song so he went home and practiced his verses then came back to relay them. Tupac at the time was known for quick writing and almost all his verses in songs were one takes and that's why he could do 4 songs a day. I'm happy you felt the difference in their delivery and you are right to suggest that they didn't record it together cos literally snoop came back to fix his verses after 2 days practice. Great reaction my G.

    The thing is, both these guys are at their peak, and on this track, they're both doing their own thing, their own style, what they do. Neither is riding the other's energy. Personally, that's what I like about the track. That volley between these two distinct voices at the top of Death Row. At the time, it was their first collaboration, and everyone was just wildin to hear them together on the same track.

This dude is plenty old enough to have been listening to Pac in the 90's, for sure by early 2000's. The fact he didn't let's me know he is a lame. The opinions of hip hop outsiders don't matter to me.

    You nailed this reaction brotha. They didn't record the song together in the booth but Tupac always came on the track with his own energy and never rode off of other people. That's one of the reasons he was so unique and confident as an artist, his songs reflected his mood and ideals instead of keeping an image with a one note style at the time. You can genuinely feel his emotions translate into his music. Also his philosophy and accomplishments outside of music were groundbreaking then and even now not even mentioning his age, truly a tragic loss. You should wholeheartedly check out the movie Tupac Resurrection, no actors just Tupac and others on camera discussing his life beginning to end🖤

    Facts.. snoops been marketing for 25yrs now to convince people he was the bigger star and the better rapper at the time. Yes Doggystyle was a massive instant classic and still bangs and he got out on the map first, but Pac overshadowed him immensely when his wave came crashing over the game and Cube was murdering too. Nas was coming with illmatic, Biggie being biggie. The show was closing up for the dog. Even Dre didn’t sign him to aftermath, that’s why he had to go to no limit records. Snoops a party vibe not a master MC.

    @@CoachTC23 Dre didn’t want to sign the rapper that helped put him on the map? Snoop wrote “Nuthin but a g thang” I’m guessing Dre didn’t sign Snoop because he didn’t want to go up against Suge. Master P was never afraid of Suge Knight and bought out Snoop’s contract at Death Row.

  • @CoachTC23

    @CoachTC23

    @@brandonbyes7344 That’s a factor as well you’re right. But Snoop didn’t provide any value for Master P, P is just a real one so he signed snoop to teach him about the business and get his emotions out of his own way. Dre was proven right to go with Em and not to put his career behind snoop no doubt. Worked out great all around as now snoop owns death row and Dre and em have their separate place in music history.

    You're getting different vibes from different songs from different parts of his career. *(Dear Mama)* was before he got locked up & before he signed a *Death☠️Row (2 of America's Most Wanted)* is on *Death☠️Row* record label & then *(Hit Em Up)* was after he'd been shot *5* times & was released only months before he was ultimately shot & killed on *Friday the 13th 1996 in Las Vegas*

    💯. His lyrics and songs are written from the heart. He offered everyone a window to his soul, with his writing. The more you know about his journey and stages of live the more you appreciate his work. It's honestly critical when dissecting his music. It's an emotional roller-coaster. As big of an icon as he is, he doesn't get nearly the amount of praise he should. Once in a lifetime talent.
