Well executed chef,JAMAICAN FOOD IS THE BEST right across the world the infusion of spices and of course the high standard in making sure the meats is well washed, and clean (when we wash our plates we always rinse too). May I say that you should never add COLD WATER to anything already cooking! It will make the meat tough, and longer cooking time always have a kettle on the boil for your meals, that’s how my grandma taught me as a child in Jamaica. And I was Born in NEGRIL REALLY BEAUTIFUL PLACE AND WONDERFUL PEOPLE. Blessings and love ❤💛💚🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

Some people actually do. It just depends on how you balance the flavors. Some coconuts are very sweet, especially the native ones, so i believe some persons maybe trying to get that authentic sweet coconut flavour.
gravy slightly different, usually we would leave one chicken (cooking it down ) to use the fat and create the gravy stock turning it into gravy

Why you used sugar to make grave, wrong you don't need the sugar.
Nothing authentic about that cooking. First thing you cant be adding powder seasoning and cold water to an alreading boiling pot, using one spoon in most of the pots and i wont bother to address the rice washing.
