I would add "Lets not Fall in love" and "zutter" from GD&TOP. Live performance? ... definitely MAMA 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015. And maybe CL and 2ne1 performance also at MAMA2015. Psy performed also that time and I think IKON ( I'm not sure). Anyway...it felt more like a YG-Family concert.😅 Almost every song of them ist different...they are so unpredictable. @@Serendipity_143 wrong. A king can't be given to anyone just bcoz they are famous. I have followed BTS and BIGBANG works, and honestly, bigbang are the kings of Kpop. Especially GD. Bigbang sounds different, l see them as Korea hip hop group, newer generations will never understand the impact bigbang has on kpop, bcoz they changed Kpop, they were heavily critized back then, the trolls and backlash was really heavy, and l assure u that even ur bts won't have survive it. Now, seeing how bigbang was very successful, people like ur bts started having interest to be an idol. Bts followed the new norm that bigbang created, and paved their own way in Kpop. Now the Asian markets was occupied by bigbang, shinee and Exo(an incredible vocal power house). Bigbang was the most famous group in Japan and China, they were the biggest boy group in the world back then, but G dragon didn't want his group to promote much in the western countries, he wanted to be well known in his own country, thus having an incredible identity in Korea. Bts actually flopped in Korea, bcoz the Asian market was occupied so many idols, it was highy competitive. Back then Bigbang started going for their military, they were inactive for a sometime, Exo was busy with solo activities. Now, ONE DIRECTION was the most popular boy group in the west, but sadly, they disbanded. Bighit saw it as an opportunity to promote bts in the US market, going for Interviews, awards shows, etc, and boom,, bts gained fame in the west. And then you became their fan, and bts achieved so many things in the west, they made songs to suit the western stlye and got nominated for grammy. They achieved alot, good for them. The fact Kpop doesn't revolve around bts, there are other excellent groups that also deserve fame, there are other successful groups that are even more talented than bts, what most groups need is the right promotions in the west, bcoz that is what Kpop is now, it all about fame and nothing more. But bigbang is different and will be respected bcoz they created the foundation of what Kpop is today, they worked hard to ensure a standard for Kpop, but they didn't get the credit they deserve. The truth is bigbang are the real kings of Kpop, anyone that knows the Kpop history knows that the emperors of Kpop is bigbang and not bts. You know why bcoz there hasn't been a group like bigbang again, they were not idols but musicians.

Big Bang was the BTS of the mid 2000s. Literally the biggest band in Asia, if I were honest. They started from ground 0 and literally made YGE the musical empire it is today. As you know GD is the Leader. He's a Musically and Artistically Creative Genius with the most loud superstar/fashionista vibe in Korea. However, he's pretty private and introverted as a person. I find that Taeyang is the soulful "Usher" of the group and is the glue that holds everyone together. Multi-talented in all areas but very humble and very group oriented. He is able to meet every member wherever they are, mentally. From a young age GD & Taeyang have always had a strong bond. You can find a young GD & Taeyang featured in YGE's 1st generation Artists' Music Videos such as Jinusean's "Ayo" & "Phone Number" as well as YG Fam's "Hip Hop Gentlemen". T.O.P. is the oldest and also a rapper in the group. With his deep voice, his rapping is unique. He and GD had marijuana use scandals. Daesung, the one with the bangs over his eyes via MV is one of the main vocalists. He's the mood maker and comedian of the group who loves dabbling with Korean Trot (Country) Music. He had an "under the influence (alcohol) while driving" scandal. Seungri is the maknae (youngest) of the group and well versed in all areas of singing, dancing and occasional rap lines but his downfall is probably that he had a love of money and got too ambitious, & was too set in his ways. His scandal was the biggest and loudest. He was allegedly pimping out girls and having a whole chatroom fiasco with male celebrities (outside of his bandmates) involving illegal footages of girls and participating in lewd discussions. Hence why he's not a part of the band anymore and is getting ready to or is already serving time. BB debuted in 2006 through a sort of reality competition within the company. I became a VIP in 2007. They had their major breakthrough in 2007- 2008. Since then, they've been legends in S.K., but as all legends' stories go, they're all still human prone to mistakes and bad decisions. Out of the 5, only Taeyang hasn't been touched by hints of scandal. Earlier this year, it's been reported that the remaining members will still promote as a group whenever Big Bang music is released but individually, Taeyang, TOP, and Daesung have left YGE to join other labels. Hope this gives more insight on the group as a whole. Being a part of this longtime fandom has definitely been a rollercoaster ride of sorts. At the end of the day, I'm just glad the remaining members still have the will and ability to stand strong after all that's happened. PS. Putting all this here in case you get sucked into the fandom and start wondering the why's and what happeneds, and who's missings.

Bigbang got big without promotion in the West, no tv shows, interviews , they never had a plan to fallow . It was never a search for awards and charts but their goal was to chalenge themselves try exploring music styles . Making good music is all they want

I advise you to check the MV and then the live performance in the same reaction, so you can see that even though their mv`s are top notch, when it comes to live performances, nothing compares to their energy, style and interaction with the crowd!! If you want to be completely blown away at the beginning, check out their live performance of Bang Bang Bang+ Fantastic Baby and Sober in their 0to10 final in Seoul. These are 3 hype songs all the way!! But, make no mistake they are not just a group with hype and energetic songs. Some of their best songs are balads, such as Haru Haru (check live at Tokyo Dome), If You (live in Bangkok), Tell me goodbye (Tokyo Dome Tour) and Loser (any MADE Tour concerts), and so much more... ❤️☺️

♦️Ringa, Linga is another Taeyang solo song which is also upbeat, where he also dances, which I hope you also get a chance to react to, as opposed to Eyes, Nose, & Lips, which is a slower, more of a ballad. Also from BigBang, who debuted in 2006, the legendary group, 2nd generation, that were considered Kings of Kpop, he’s from, that inspired so many future Kpop idols, including all of BTS members, other songs I recommend from BigBang: Fantastic Baby; Loser; If You (preferably the Live From Bangkok vid), which really showcases their phenomenally amazing, so beautifully breathtaking vocals, are other songs to react to. Also another must to react to is Good Boy that feat both Taeyang & G-Dragon (leader of BigBang) who also composes most of their songs as well as for others, raps but also is great vocalist, just like Taeyang who also raps as well. Also composes & writes lyrics as well. I urge you to react to Good Boy live from 2014 MAMA awards, as well as BigBang performances as a whole live, also from MAMA awards. (You can even see BTS sitting in audience where idols groups sit during BigBang 2014 MAMA performance where they performed Bang Bang Bang as well as other of their songs like Loser! All members have done solos and collabed with each other. Seeing BigBang live performances are on another level. Just like BTS is now. BTS members have all looked up to this group. But especially Jimin had Taeyang as one of his role models growing up. To not only end up being invited to work with him as well as even be involved in composing the song I’m sure, meant so much to Jimin. Also performing outside of BTS allows Jimin to use more of his full registry including more mid to lower range notes that some aren’t even aware of that he executes equally well as his phenomenally amazing high notes. You can actually see BTS in the audience during one of BigBang MAMA awards performances.
