Pacers fan here: First off, fck Trae Young, we both agree. But seriously - Brunson, DiVincenzo & Co. have shown true-ass heart & grit this series despite being in a millionaire league where that's the exception to the rule. No matter what the series outcome is, any real Hoosier or NY ball fan knows they're out there pushing through the struggle.

NYK forgot their defense... the fast pace is not helping New York. They need to slow down and force Indiana to defend total 24 seconds.

His assessment is as good as a parrot’s assessment. Mitch Robinson injured nothing to do with minutes, Julius Randle out on a dirty play by Miami months ago, OG barely played this year…hamstring injury because he is made of glass…always injured…Bogdon trips 9 seconds into coming off bench…nothing to do with minutes. Idiotic narrative

Nick is so right here. OG shouldn't have been playing more than 35 minutes per game with his injury history. If a coach can't find 10-15 minutes for a plug and play offensive player like Burks or a versatile defender like Precious, what is he being paid for? It would be different if the Knicks actually only had 6-7 good players, but Thibs just let capable rotational players sit while he ran guys into the ground. If I'm Precious or Burks or Jericho Sims I'm highly offended that my coach thinks a guy hopping around on one leg is better than me on two healthy legs.

Is it minutes restrictions, or common sense roster management? All the HOF's you've seen in your life don't play all 48 minutes every playoff game. Maybe in a game 7.

Last year, the Nuggets didn't have any players average over 40 minutes per game in the playoffs. The year before the Warriors didn't have any player average over 40 minutes per game in the playoffs. Middleton led the championship Bucks in playoff minutes playing 40.1 minutes per game. All of a sudden "never won anything" Thibs has discovered a new "play the starters the whole game" strategy and people question why it doesn't work???

Wrong. It's not because of roster weakness, it's because they had zero fight in them, they seemed to just give up after the first 5 minutes of play. Dante Achuiwa Hart McBride Burk and even foot injury Brunson are perfectly capable of having good games. This was on all of them. A weak bench doesn't get you down by 40 points.

They are gassed. That philly series was intense and a bit physically draining. Now it's a young team that loves to really get out ahead of you & will run you up the court all night. NY is winded like hell right now and you lose posture and poise when you have to dip into your ressrves that early.

Playing 45-48 min a game with 5 players will not win a ring. Any NFL player would literally die trying to play all 48 minutes in an nba game. Now do it for an entire series! It’s physically impossible or players would have been doing it for decades.

True, most players max time is gonna be time of possession. so, if your team runs 50 plays which is very high, you may play 40 minutes. don't forget Diva RBs and WRs need a break to catch their breath...but basketball players keep running up and down till a timeout or injury happens. Think all those football heads like James Jones forgot that. get a rub down from 5he trainers or injection. lol.

if playing 40 mins a night gets you hamstring you’re not an elite athlete. soccer players play in bigger arena for 90 mins plus the added time. around 100 mins per game. no time out no unlimited substitution. no air conditioning system. in far more intense leg breaking circumstances where people actually clash their legs into each other. maybe instead of blaming the coach, knicks should tell them to increase their fitness and conditioning. paid like top elite athlete, how about act like one. 😂
